I've been bringing mine and my wife's vehicles as well as all of our fleet vehicles to Icon for years. The staff and owner have been nothing but good to us. Would recommend to anyone.

We were staying in Leduc for an appointment our car was running poorly so i called these guys and brought my car in, they said i needed a new catalytic converter and there was none available anywhere so instead he drilled holes into it, and said that would cix it for the trip! This cost me $300! On the way home which was a 5 hour trip, the car ran the same as before i took it in! I took it to a mechanic in my hometown and it was coded as a fan malfunction!! I tried calling no answer i left a voicemail no answer i even sent a email no replay! Poor service! Waste of money!

My experience with KD and the other mechanics was great, actually better then great. My car gave these boys a run for there money but they figured out all the problems and had it fixed promptly and there prices are great. I will recommend you to all my friends and family to get their servicing needs, as well as a customer for life as long as I live within driving distance. Thank you guys so much for getting my car back on the road, you guys are the best.

Unfortunately for KD and Icon Automotive, I have nothing positive to say. My friend was charged a ridiculous amount of money for a 15-minute diagnostic test which was inconclusive. She was told that there appeared to be an emissions issue, but further testing (at an additional cost, of course) would be required to determine the root cause.Unsatisfied, I took the vehicle to another shop. They performed a diagnostics test for free. They determined that the cause of the problem was a faulty gas cap and required no further testing. Problem solved.The Icon Automotive bill amounted to $162.23 which included taxes and shop supplies, which works out to $600.00 per hour for the 15 minutes spent performing the diagnostics test.I am grateful for the integrity shown by the second shop and they will certainly be getting my future business along with a five-star Google Review. They have renewed my faith in human decency and honest business practices.As for Icon Automotive, I am disgusted by their unethical and morally corrupt business practices. I will be sharing this cautionary account with others in my industry so that no one else will have to experience this type of unscrupulous and nefarious behaviour from this business.* Begrudgingly, I had to give them one star in order to post the review.i appreciate your response however the problem is fixed for 4 dollars. the math works out to almost 700 dollars an hour. you had the option to return her money. now you have lost a large number of clients. yes the gascap was a 1 minute youtube video after having the error code to fix. this is several times ive used you for my work and im fed up with overcharging, ridiculous time frames and never fixing anything.

We brought our Xterra in after buying it used off Kijiji with a few concerns and the guys at Icon kept it for 2 days to address the problems.First off, their quote was a hell of a lot less than what we had been quoted at 4 other dealerships/shops.Second, their professionalism and friendliness was A++. They kept my husband informed as to what was going on with a couple phone calls as opposed to keeping us in the dark. They were very up front about everything, showed the worn out parts they had replaced (which was nice knowing for sure they actually needed to be replaced)Third, they fixed a couple of things at no charge. What more can I say.....Overall the experience was fantastic. We have found a great shop to take our vehicles to that is 5 minutes from our house-although I would make a longer drive for the service.Highly recommend, thanks to everyone at Icon!

My usual mechanic is in Edmonton, but the car was dead so I had it towed here. Good service, but the price is way more than my usual guy.$31.25 for 0.25 hours of battery service. That's $125 an hour. Fair.$145.00 for 1.0 hours engine diagnosis. That's $145 an hour. $20 more?$50.00 for 0.2 hour (or 12 minutes) AVR test. THAT'S A $250 AN HOUR CHARGE. WHAT?!?!?!!!I'll be looking elsewhere.

Very impressed and happy with their work! They found out 2 of my 4 sensors still work, when the dealership was trying to tell me all were broken (to fix would be over 400). They quoted me a way better price, as well, fixed the under part from hanging since the dealer didn't put that back up properly. Also, gave me advice on how to help prevent my wheel barrings from wearing out. They showed me what they did that day.All I had come in for was an oil change, will be back for all services!

I came to these guys for an oil change and a flat repair a few months ago. They had good service and were reasonably priced. Our centre cap on our rim went missing shortly after our visit. Not saying it was the repair is the reason just seems strange. Anyways the real thing about this post is that I took my tires in for a winter change over and this visit did not go so well. After getting home I noticed a scuff marks on every rim where they put the cone on either to balance or remove and put the tire on. I also had to push the centre cap on the front left tire it was almost completely off. When I removed the tires from the van that were nicely placed in bags witch was very nice of them I noticed a chunk missing. The fella said that it was from the previous shop that put my tires on. I pointed out the mark from his tool that he used and he said that his guy did not do it. From working in afire shop I know that the damage was done from this visit. He is saying he is going to replace the tire witch is very nice and I'm grateful for that as the tire is not usable as the bead will not re-seal. Now as for the scuff marks he is telling me they will come out with brake clean witch his worker tried but was unsuccessful. They are scratched and it is visible that they are damaged. The biggest thing about the after and showing him the damage he is saying it is the other shop that did it and that he is never having me as a customer again. He pretty much flew off the handle within the first minute of me showing him what his worker did. I am posting this not for the purpose of hurting his reputation of a low cost shop but to let you know that as a customer I do not need to be yelled at and that I was only pointing out what his shop did. He is ordering me a new tire and once again am very grateful that he is doing that. I want the best for all local companies and I think that this company is a good place to go. I think I just got a human/machine error and that happens. I do not want to be pushed out the door as this fella was doing with me and yelling at me is not cool as I did not once raise my voice or show any sort of anger towards him.

I have had most types of service done at Icon from small to large. I've had quite a few vehicles and take all of them to Icon. KD is amazing, extremely honest and very good at what he does. I highly recommend Icon Automotive. They can handle any task. I have never had any issues with anything they have ever done for me on any vehicle. They are the best shop in the area hands down. Call them.
