A wonderful, recently opened independent bookstore in Galt. Has an expertly curated collection of fiction & non-fiction for all tastes, a children's section, plus board games. Cambridge is long overdue for a proper bookshop, glad it’s finally arrived. The reusable cotton shopping bags with the rook-on-books logo are very cool

Popped in on a whim and found a great, modern selection of books. Kids section is small but well-curated. Very happy to have a bookstore in downtown Galt!

Had to check out this new independent bookstore in Galt! Great selection of books and games, and was able to order 2 books for pick up, including a manga I haven't been able to find anywhere. Absolutely recommend!

Great little shop! The shop has character and a great selection. The owner was also great. If they don't have what you want, they can also order in. I was also surprised to see a great selection of board games and puzzles. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Based off the pictures online, the store looked bigger but in person while smaller, it was cute! Lots of inspiring displays on the wall and the owner (I think, person behind the cash) was super kind! Very LGBTQ+ friendly. They have all sorts of knick knacks and also stickers, pins, games and puzzles as well as obviously books. They also have a children's area with a sofa. Overall I would recommend as a local book store option for your book needs.Edit: Prices are about the same or a little more than somewhere like Indigo

This is the bookstore I have wanted in my hometown for years. A great balance of popular works with strong representation of Indigenous, BIPOC, and 2SLGBTQIA+ authors. The roleplaying section is a fun bonus with some hard-to-find independent RPGs.

Amazing little bookstore! They have a great selection of recent titles and older ones, as well as board games, kids items, and tons of community events coming up as well. I'll definitely be back! Book lovers, be sure to check this store out!
