My partner and I had the privilege to work with Mika before, during and after our little one arrived. She truly is such an incredible soul. Mika made us feel loved, nourished, held and supported every step of the way. She always had a calm presence and this allowed us to feel safe, even in the stressful moments. I am forever grateful for the wisdom she shared with us and how present she was through all of our waves. Mika supported me throughout the entire pregnancy with regular calls and check-ins and was always available to answer any questions which was highly reassuring for a first time mom. Mika provided me with some helpful resources and referrals. The prenatal sessions provided us with all the necessary information we needed to prepare for the birth and postpartum.My birth didn’t end up the way I planned, and it was extremely helpful to have Mika there in the difficult moments, explaining every step and providing me and my partner with all the emotional support and the information we needed, in a way that made a potentially traumatic experience a really positive one. Mika’s suggestions and insights positively affected my recovery and my bond with my son.Mika is not just a great professional, she’s an amazing caring human and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to go with her as our doula.

I would not have been able to give birth without Mika and the loving support she provided throughout every stage of the journey. Mika cares and advocates for you as your closest family member would. She made me feel at ease during my most vulnerable moments and I had complete trust in her even without knowing her previously. Leading up to the birth, my husband and I felt really well prepared as a result of Mika’s pre-labour session in which we spoke about what to expect.Mika is such a warm and kind hearted individual. We have laughed together as well as cried together. What a beautiful soul!As hard as my labour was, Mika being there made it all the more manageable. She was of value beyond measure to me and I would recommend Mika to anyone and everyone who is about to give birth. Love her!!!

I could not have asked for a better Dula for my first pregnancy! I recently worked with Mika and it was an amazing experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, which put me at ease right away. As someone who can be quite anxious, she was able to calm me down and answer all of my questions with patience and kindness. She was always available and answered all my questions very fast. I really appreciated that she never judged any of my decisions and was always understanding. Her calm and reassuring nature was also so helpful throughout the process. Having Mika by our side through the journey of delivering our darling baby girl was blessing. Mika is a knowledgeable, wise and very experienced doula with whom the spent time feels like spending time with a very caring friend truly. Mika helped us navigate the path, prepare our mind and regulate our expectations. She's been very reliable and has been available whenever we needed her help/ advice, and hence it's been definitely a relief having her.She would reach out and make sure we are doing well and she would offer beams of light of her experience, as a coach would, to help us better navigate through the journey. Mika is wonderful. Not only is she a beautiful soul, but she is incredibly knowledgeable and was an amazing support during the entire pre and post natal experience. I’ve had the pleasure of having Mika’s guidance during both of my pregnancies. She was our birth doula during the labor and delivery of our second child and helped soothe me and create an atmosphere that made the experience so calm and peaceful. During both pregnancies she was always available to answer any questions I had, offer up referrals, provide documentation on topics we were discussing and most importantly always put me at ease throughout the process. I highly recommend Mika to anyone looking for a doula!

Mika helped us with our first pregnancy, and I called her again without hesitation for our second. Her calmness, reassurance and knowledge of humans and perinatal science are incredible. During this second pregnancy, which got off to a more difficult start than my first, I felt the need for additional support to get me through the emotional, physical and energetic upheavals I was experiencing. So I started Somatic Experiencing (SE) sessions. I was completely unfamiliar with this method before Mika told me about it, but I was immediately won over. Mika guided me in exploring the link between my body's reactions and my feelings. In just a few sessions I felt more grounded, more serene, closer to my feelings and also ready to overcome, accept and navigate through the anxiety and some of the difficult energy shifts that pregnancy can sometimes bring.These sessions with Mika were one of the keys to having the most serene pregnancy possible, and I 100% recommend them.Thank you Mika.

The moment I spoke with Mika, I knew I wanted her by my side during the birth of my son. Her warm and gentle demeanor were so comforting and she has so many tools and great knowledge at her disposal.
