Such a cool place to visit for all ages. The staff are super knowledgeable and take the time to show the fish coming through to the spectators and explain what they are doing.

Great spot for fishing in Hamilton. It's also cool to watch the workers sort through the fish out there coming through the Fishway. This is a neat and innovative feature of Hamilton Harbour!

We enjoyed looking at how they sorted and checked the fish. We came around 2:30 and saw them at work, but next time we'll come a bit earlier. We also saw a couple of fawns in the bushes nearby.

Ooo... ahh... eekk!. If you've got any imagination, use it to have kids make those sounds as they get splashed and see the fish get sorted, weighed and measured the Fishway.A bit of a walk from the park here image but a great way to kill some time, learn a little and maybe even throw in a picnic, canoeing or just walk around taking in the sights and animals. Parking is paid however but nothing crazy.
