Has a range of products, and most prices are relatively fair considering they're higher-end goods. However, if you're looking for fountain pens or really, decent quality pens of any sort, I'd stay away. They don't stock the basics (don't even carry ink cartridges for the pens they sell) and staff have zero knowledge about them. Prices and selection are leagues better at Phidon Pens in Cambridge. Plenty of fancy knick-knacks, but when it comes to stationery which is supposedly their mainstay, it's overpriced with basically nothing actually useful.

Every time I go in here the staff are super unfriendly and minimally helpful. On occasion I bring one of my kids with me, and their distaste for little ones is plastered all over their faces. The last time I left the store I felt like crap, and swore I would not spend more money there. Phidon Pens in Cambridge is out of the way for me, but man, such a better store, and storekeeper.

I have bought a lot of things here over the years. There are 2 women that work here that are wonderful. My understanding from speaking to one of them is that the owner has opted not to bring in merchandise to fill the shelves hence my 3 star rating. It's too bad, because it's a unique store and while over priced on some things, I enjoy the general feel of the store. Christmas ornaments from there are my favourite to buy for myself and for gifting. I hope the store can turn the corner, but definitely something needs to happen.

I've been on the fence about this place for a while. They have some beautiful merchandise and I've definitely found some lovely holiday-themed decor here, although they don't stock as many interesting products as they used to. But as others have said, minus one decent clerk the service they have given me over the past year or so has been pretty embarrassing, from arrogantly disinterested, to downright hostile. You'd think in this economy a small business wouldn't act like this. Do yourself a favour and take your money elsewhere.
