Greg had such an easy-going way about him, so we were never afraid to ask questions, of which there were many. Yet at no point did we feel rushed. As lenders, we had unconventional circumstances, but this never proved to be an issue. We were able to secure the financing we needed, to achieve our goals.On a more personal note; in the midst of our working relationship with The Nowik Team, we suffered a family tragedy. The day we attended the office, to sign our mortgage papers, I broke down. When I relayed the news of what had happened to Greg, he put aside all the legal documents, and started writing in his notebook. When he was done, he handed me an inspirational poem. I was so taken aback by this genuine and heartfelt gesture. That was over three years ago now, but I still have his handwritten note. And the memory I have carried with me ever since was that, in such a vulnerable moment, my husband and I felt like we were more than just clients - we really were treated like family.I can't say enough about how happy we were to work with Greg, Vera and the people at The Nowik Mortgage Team. The process was super smooth and Myles was able to thoroughly answer all our questions. Anytime we had a question he was only a phone call away and even went as far as setting up a video call to walk us through everything so we could physically see what numbers he was getting for us. I would recommend the Nowik team to everyone looking to renew or setup a new mortgage.
