D'Cardos Mechanical Automotive Repair

Worst experience! Stay away! They ruined my car. Replaced timing belt that was fine, just because computer said it was 100,000km. Picked it up and it sounded like a diesel. They said it was a faulty part and replaced it. Still sounded so loud and rattling. Took it back and they said they would put in a genuine GM part. Still didn't fix it. Then they said it was because the belt was too tight and in time it would loosen and not rattle. It's been 10,000 km and it still sounds horrible. I can't even sell it. My beautiful Chevy Cruze is ruined!

I was referred to D’Cardos by a friend, after a local dealership refused to work on my car. She’s aged. I get it. The old girl was singing an embarrassingly high soprano, belt song. D’Cardos tightened things up & she’s purring once again. My neighbors will be super appreciative, I am sure!! Service was fast, I wasn’t hooskowed (female, which happens) with super reasonable pricing. They didn’t force me to fix anything but what I asked for & their customer service was amazing!!! Like…..I want to have beer with them now. Yeah, that good. Being new to town, I know will be back for all of my vehicle work in the future. Thank you!!!!! Jolene

Been going here for just over a year now with a variety of repairs needed. They are absolutely incredible. My 94 range rover is always in good hands when I take it there and they always treat me incredibly well !!! Couldn't recommend them more !!!

I was hesitant to go to a different mechanic when mine made the decision to stop working on European vehicles. I was referred to D'cardos.What I thought was a quick simple fix turned out to be an onslaught of broken and malfunctioning parts. Lindsay, Rick & Calvin walked me through all the issues and never one made me feel that I was under pressure to fix or repair anything I didn't come in for.Yes the bill was considerably larger than I planned BUT I feel it was all needed repairs - after 250,000kms things are going to be need replacing.Aside from lengthy part delays (not the shops issue) from Audi, I have my car back running like a top! and when the parts did arrive the team was quick to install them!I have found a new trustworthy mechanic for my aging car.Thank you to Rick & the team!

I was impressed! I was sent there because a fast oil change place informed me they couldnt take out my oil plug because it was damaged from last change...(it turned out to be the same place) Tho oil change place recommended D'Cardos as they could retap the threads.D' Cardos informed me if they had problems it could cost $1100 for new pan and labour..So fingers crossed i brougt it in to be promtly called back that it had been fixed with oil change and service for so much less!They also had a great manor with the owner close to desk monitoring how customer was serviced etc.Recommended!!

Awesome and very friendly service. I've tried bring my car to the dealership but they had no interest in fixing or maintaining my car. A friend told me to take my car here and for almost 2 years now I've been getting my car serviced and fixed. So glad I was told about their amazing work and fast friendly service.

Absolutely amazing place I wish I could give them 10 stars they are truly amazing. Thank you Calvin for fixing up my car on short notice and also letting me know about future repairs. They not only fixed my car sooner but were able to drop me off at home and pick me up what an amazing service. Will be recommending everyone to the place and coming back for future repairs.

I went to D'cardos for a second opinion after the dealership gave me an estimate for some work. It was a big job. D'cardos customer service was top notch. Lyndsey was great. Rick was friendly and a good communicator. When the work was delayed because of a parts issue, Lyndsey was very apologetic, even though it wasn't their fault, and Rick gave me good detail and was transparent about the reason for the delay. A loaner car was on deck if I needed it (never did). Nice pooch too. I expect to be a regular at D’Cardo’s. They even do one-day and five-day follow-ups inviting feedback.

My impala has 530,000 km , they have replaced everything except the transmission. My car runs great, going to Calgary again. Way cheaper to fix than buy a new car.
