Excellent place to run your event. Big space, clean. Lots of resources available to help you run what you need. Also by far the fairest price point in town while being in a safe area.

We love the North End Splash Pad! Great for a hot day, but bring an umbrella for shade or make sure you're sporting hats because there isn't a tonne of shade for relaxing in. There is a covered area with picnic tables that's awesome but can get crowded early.Lots to do, lots of sprayers over a good area and the dry park is right beside it.

North end rec is a good place to take your kids all year round they have manned winter rinks two of them and a pond for the really small kids to skate on and then in the summer they have a splash pad for the kids and it's all city run so all in all a good place to go.

Toddler loves it, nice to go when it's not busy. I feel badly for the people who live directly behind the splash pad, as all the water crashing is very loud, not to mention the screaming children. I can hear them at my house, and I live just shy of a kilometre away, I couldn't imagine having it practically in my back yard.

In the summer, there's lots of sprinklers fountains and a slide to play on in the splash pad. The water is very cold. Multiple play structures for kids which are great. There's also a field to play in and baseball diamonds. In the winter, the outdoor ice is great!
