Great selection of appetizers and rolls. Everything we had was delicious. What was truly great about our time there however was the pacing of the meal. They sent out everything in a timely manner, never overwhelming us with too much and once and allowing us to finish items before bringing more. I am not sure if this is something they do purposefully or we just got lucky this time but it was great.Now the negatives. As is typical in all you can eat settings, some items were forgotten. Understandable on a busier night but we were one of maybe 5 tables in the restaurant at the time. That, coupled with their use of tablet ordering, makes the forgetfulness a little less acceptable. And on a more strange note, we didnt get soy sauce to our table until we finally had to ask for it 20 or so minutes later.Overall a great experience, however a little more attention to detail would make it perfect.

Yum. Yum. Yum. 1st off. Nice location. A bit of a view of the bay. Fast service. Acurate and tasty. Great selection. It was a good experience all the way around. I recommend it! Date or just a family night feed this has it. Yum.

Been here a few times now, each time I continue to have a better experience. Very limited parking for the area. Average price for the all you can eat. Order off an iPad, the food comes decently fast. Not my favourite of all the restaurants I've had, however still very good with many interesting specialty rolls, my favourite being the AK-47, however last time I went was no longer on the menu sadly. Their deserts are spectacular, being a main reason for my return every time. I truly wish I had a whole mango cheesecake to myself!

Always an amazing experience and always friendly service. It's nice to see familiar staff returning with the season picking back up. I cannot wait to see a rewards program for returning and loyal customers. I love coming to visit and always loved writing thank you notes on the table paper. Now with the upgrades I'll have to give you your thanks in person as always and here. So thank you for all the great food and drink. Always amazing music and the wonderful chefs take such good care of us when we come. See you in two weeks!!

Just finished having a great meal at Akira in Barrie. The restaurant is large, nicely decorated and clean. The menu is very large and everything we ordered was very good. Rolls are loaded and a bit of a challenge to eat without making a mess! The M16 and AK47 rolls are my favourite - they are cooked rolls and are delicious! Well worth a try. The tempura is light & delicious. My son loved the tempura ice cream for dessert. I have been going to Akira for over 2 years now and I absolutely love it! They have a great variety of items on their menu and staff is always so nice.

I have sushi about once a week. My favourite sushi place was closed and I wanted it so bad. Don’t steer away from what you love. The rolls were tiny, crab was over cooked, salmon wasn’t fresh. The wasabi was in a package and not fresh as well as the ginger. Kinda gross In my opinion. Was edible but won’t buy from here again. I learned my lesson. I’ll wait next time.

Vary good sushi. Lunch is cheep at the cost of not having the full menu. The wasabi is a little week.. Dinner you get the full menu. But 10$ more. Staff is friendly.

Akira has been my favourite affordable take-out choice, and has been consistently delicious. I've never been been to the actual restaurant, but the food has always arrived hot and well prepared. I wish all of the staff here the best after the fire
