Wheelhouse Cycle Warehouse

Truly the first time in my life that I've genuinely enjoyed (nay, look forward to) working out. Wheelhouse is a totally immersive, fun & addictive exercise experience. It's hard as hell (especially at first), but the instructors are so engaging, funny & supportive and create amazing playlists that actually make you want to push yourself harder. Their theme rides are amazing, and the best introduction if you want to see why Wheelhouse has the amazing reputation they do. Best spin studio in the city, and in my opinion, beats any class I've done in other cities as well. Could not recommend more highly!

It's a dancy spin class with sweet beats and good energy.Probably not the most efficient or effective way to train for road cycling, loud music (hearing protection offered), but the staff is friendly and if you go in with the mindset that you're going to burn calories, get stronger, and have fun, you will enjoy it!Con: expensive!Pro tip: $10 cash only drop in on Fridays (but you have to reserve your bike on Monday to get a spot)

I tried my first spin class here and it was amazing!!! The instructor was so fun and encouraging. The other staff were all so warm and welcoming. The class was challenging, but in the best way possible! The music and atmosphere was also super fun. I highly recommend.

I love going to Wheelhouse for my cardio workouts. Being an amateur boxer, I needed something to keep me fit throughout my pregnancy, in a high-intensity, but low-impact way. Spinning does just that. Not only is it great exercise, but the instructors always make it so much fun and I always look forward to going. Even when I'm tired, as soon as I get myself in there and hear the music pumping, I go from 0 to 100 in seconds. The front desk staff and the owner are very helpful and accommodating! The membership might seem costly, but it's worth it for the experience, energy, and motivation that you won't get from a regular cardio gym.

I cannot recommend Wheelhouse Cycle enough - whether it is the Centretown or Welly West location, this is the absolute best place to ride in the city. The staff, instructors and community of riders is second to none, and I felt welcomed from the first time I walked in. This place has changed how I view fitness and working out, and has become a stable in my daily routine. Each instructor brings their own unique vibe and I love that. It is the perfect mix of pump up playlists, great energy, and an awesome full body workout that leaves me feeling badass and energized. Wheelhouse - you have my heart!

I initially joined Wheelhouse to spruce up my exercise routine, I never thought I'd become a spin addict! Wheelhouse is a community of staff, instructors and other spin addicts who are incredibly friendly and encouraging, helping you reach exercise heights you never dreamed of achieving! It's a very supportive and encouraging family. If you're looking to switch up your routine, give Wheelhouse a try, you won't be disappointed!

I have heard only good things about WH. Class was good, got a good sweat in. The music was at fitness music which was fine. The teacher was also good, wish there was more choreography though. My only complaint is it is pricey for what you get. I have been spinning for 5months and have been to other spin places in Ottawa and Toronto. For the same price of $24, the bikes are cleaned by staff members after every class and towels are already on the bike when you arrive. When the class is done you receive a ice cold towel. This was not provided at WH. There is also way to many bikes for the space. Overall it wasnt a bad experience just not my favourite, would not go back unless my friend wanted to go

Incredible workout, great energy from instructors! Although it’s a long drive in for me from home, I always leave completely satisfied with the workout. As an avid marathon runner, I appreciate the cardio push for my training. Excellent vibe!
