Larry’s very professional and prompt. Great work ethic and great to communicate with. We love our new stairs and floor. Each stage of the process was communicated with us so we knew who was coming to the house and which step was being done. The guys who did our stairs were especially wonderful and sooo incredibly tidy!

After another stair railing company caused issues and supplied the wrong items. We spoke with Perry and he was absolutely fantastic! He was able to get us out of a jam and supply us with enough pieces to finish my railing! I cannot speak highly enough about the fantastic service. Would absolutely recommend dealing with Perry and his team - even from half way across Canada!

I spent a lot of time researching where I could buy what I needed to redo our staircase to match the tropical Walnut hardwood floors I installed. I was expecting Walnut stairs, railings and moldings would be crazy expensive so I decided to do the work myself to save some money. When I found Scotia Stairs, I contacted them with my intentions and they were extremely helpful. First thing was to suggest using Birch instead of Walnut, Birch is something like three times cheaper than Walnut. Larry assured me they could stain the Birch to match our Walnut floor very closely. I ordered the materials and waited. When everything arrived, I was super happy with the quality of the treads, railings and moldings which were all matched to our floors very nicely. During the whole process of building the new staircase, I had a lot of questions and everyone I talked to at Scotia Stairs was very helpful and patient. With their great ideas, suggestions and high quality products, I completed the work and our stairs look like a million bucks. Highly recommended. Good, honest, professional people at Scotia Stairs. Larry took the time to walk me through the details and ensure that I had everything I required, at a much better price than I was going to pay at the other store. Part of my order was on back order and everything was communicated to me - there was no waiting or wondering where things were. Delivery was quick. Order was correct. Just waiting for them to be installed by the carpenter.

I’ve had such a great experience with Scotia Stairs , their website is full of great information for the do it yourselfer and made it very easy to replace my dated wooden spindles with wrought iron ones. Now my neighbour wants me to replace his too!! So happy with the end result. The Shipment came in two days which was great. I highly recommend Scotia Stairs , you will not be disappointed.

Very helpful and informative for the DIY expert or pro installer. Ready to customize the millwork required and can supply all parts needed for a stair renovation or new stairs. Haven't bought from them yet but so far I'm quite impressed.
