Action 500 Laval Escape game, Karting, Paintball

Did 3 heats with my group. First heat they messed up the lap times, so that was too bad. Second heat was great, no issues there. Third heat was terrible. I had cart 15 that stopped working halfway and drove a different cart that was so slow, you didn't even need to brake. Overall the carts are hugely inequal in speed and that simply is disappointing.

We were a group of 7 for the 500 paintball activity. The place itself need some TLC (tender love and care). Be aware that there’s no animation or no one to organise any game. We had to create our own game to have fun.

My friend had booked an escape room for a group of five. She reserved our spots on the website and was charged immediately. A few hours later she received an email cancelling our reservation without explanation. She was then asked whether she would like store credit or refund. Wanting a full refund, she was able to give them the right information. During this time, the fund was never reimbursed when our group never even went! They are now telling us we will receive a cheque as refund. We are extremely confused as to why the charge was never put back automatically as THEY canceled our reservation. The reason for our cancellation was short staff". We were excited to come here and are extremely dissatisfied with the service. I have never left a bad review and it is unfortunate that I now have to do so."

Fun place to go to begin, yet could upgrade the look. Staff are nice i went for the karting on a friday night was very quiet. Next time i will try the escape room and maybe paintball. All and all a bit pricy for what it is but under

Employees just there to chill. Not very helpful. Unclear if you are racing/ warming up/quali so you end up wasting your precious race time. Be careful, wear old pants because the karts stain clothes. Ruined 200$ a pair of jeans.

People are super nice. Machine on Gaz and indoor, crazy smell. The Karts are very old as well

For the paintball:Came first time with my friends.Everything was nice, we had all the place for us.2 weeks a go, i came with my family but some of my family were visiting form other countries.Well, first, the suits were horrible, broken suits, they even tried to convince me to not use the suits because they weren’t in good shape.the mask very old and dirty, IF YOU USE GLASSES, FORGET TO PLAY, THEY DONT HAVE MASK for player with glasses.The paintball place: very dirty, they dont clean the paint after, they never clean the paint, is a little dark.At the end, the staff hurry us to finish to let other people in.The staff: kids being paying minimum.Well, the safety procedures are very cheap and i would not be surprised if anything wrong happen.I would like to read the bads reviews before i came with my whole family.I would like to pay more to have good equipment, and to be in a more exclusive place.If you come here, expect a cheap experience,

Very bad service.We reserved for seven people. And had to reschedule the appointment. We had to call them seven times and each time they were giving us attitude on the call and they weren't friendly at all. One time an employee finished the call while I was about to ask her something (she finished what she had to say and didn't wait to see if my questions were done). We arrived there and they didn't let us in because they didn't have enough equipments for everyone ! why would you accept a reservation of 7 people when you dont know if you have enough equipments for everyone ?? Now we are dealing with the refund process !

I regret not checking the reviews before visiting.Came for go karts but was told there was no availablity (there was but the staff wanted to go home early). Ended up doing an escape room instead. It was an adventure, but not for any positive reason. Only two were available. Which we assumed was due to other groups but after realising we were the only ones there I suspect it was because they were the only two that weren't broken, or perhaps the least broken.Personally I'm not particularly experienced with escape rooms but the instructions did not seem clear and one of the clues required us using brute force, which I know is not normally required (and we were specifically told not to force anything by the host). The rest of the party, who has significant experience with escape rooms, where upset ranging from disappointed to apoplectic.With an even split native French and English speakers, it wasn't an poor translation/language barrier issues.I won't go into detail on the puzzle issues but, despite having an AC unit built into the trailer the room was housed in, it was sweet lodge hot in the room. We were alsoade to bring our bags and jackets into the already cramped space without hooks or surfaces to place them on.The staff seemed friendly although they all seemed stoned (which after reading reviews by employees on Indeed I can't fault them for) and were generally unhelpful. Add to the fact they lied about go kart availability to close early and I can't even give a star for them being nice.TL;DR: A true bonding experience for all the wrong reasons. Go karts might be fun but stay away from the escape rooms.
