St. Clair Golf Club

Been here twice this summer. Both times from group golfer that was purchased four or five years ago. Heck of a deal I guess if I would've use them in time. $35 for a round here plus a bucket of balls at the driving range. Since they expired I guess we had to pay full price which was an additional $55! Got a real feeling that they don't like people that are not members. Both times they made it difficult to schedule a tee time. Didn't return calls for 24 hours or more. For the round today I made a tee time a week and a half in advance. They stopped me and told me I couldn't make a reservation more than one week in advance...lol. So I waited a few days and called them back again. More of the voice message system and not returning calls. Finally made the reservation for this morning. Two days later I got a call from Brian the golf pro " and he told me that they had no tee times in the morning and we would have to wait until late in the morning for ours. We agreed. Imagine the surprise when we showed up and there were a total of eight cars in the parking lot! So I guess we were lied to. One of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had. Talk about being made to feel unwelcome. Quite a smug character this Brian. Not very welcoming. Especially to people who would could be prospective members here. It's OK that Brian's not very good at his job. $30K doesn't get you much in an employee nowadays. He came out on the course and watched us. Drove up to watch us in the middle of the course at one point. He came out to make several rude and smug comments. When we played this course previously we had a pretty decent time. Thought it would be a fun place to come to if we lived closer. Based on our experience this last time I can assure you we will never be back."

Lots of changes at the club. We are very excited. New general manager, new chef, new menu. We visited on Friday. The food was great and service was awesome. Lots of fish options we are looking forward to great summer.

Spend every easter Sunday here with family. Always a beautiful layout. The food continues to grow in flavor, and flare. Wait staff has never dissappointed. Super accomodating cor any circumstance. In the spring and summer the pool is clean and crisp! Partial menu poolside but usually willing to extend a few dietary rules. Its almost as if the staff knows you before you even get there! Great golf course overall!!! Ive never played but the course is challenging and beautiful from 2nd hand experience laying poolside listening to golfers teeoff. Always a good time.

Thank you St.Clair Golf Club for a beautiful venue for my daughters bridal shower. Brian and Nicole went out of their way to accommodate us. Food was excellent.. Highly recommend.

Went today on a Group Golfer voucher. After checking in, we began to load up our carts. A staff person from in the pro shop immediately came out and said there was to be NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES allowed. OK, I understand that thinking alcohol, pop, McDonalds . . . . but WATER? H20?Seriously. He wanted us to get rid of our water. My reason for this post, is this individual claimed it's policy is on the Group Golfer Voucher. IT IS NOT. FACT CHECK IT! I also checked their website. NO WHERE does it say anything about OUTSIDE BEVERAGES!! WATER? Really. WATER?I will not be returning or suggesting this course to my golf buddies.

Was a great evening networking with so many Peers'. Haven't done this before! Saw so many people I hadn't seen before or for so long! Lots of new contacts! Goods bar, not too much on the food. I came home & ate something. Overall good!

A very nice facility. The club has a small pool, very nice covered and uncovered outside dinning areas, the property is nicely landscaped and the course is exceptional !! I would highly recommend !

Great track, the layout is tough but fair. The greens are always in very good condition and run pretty true.The newer back nine made a great addition plus added some length to the course. This is a private course but you will not find a better deal within 100 miles. The food in the dining room is excellent and the staff is wonderful.I highly recommend playing here if you know a member. If your considering a private club this is the best in the area and they have good deals on memberships for new members.
