Rusty's NOFRILLS Brantford

I recently visited Rusty's NoFrills and had a rather unpleasant experience. Firstly, I was appalled by the condition of the tomatoes they had on display. Most of them were visibly rotting, which is completely unacceptable for a grocery store. It was quite disappointing to see such poor quality produce being offered to customers especially with the cost of groceries.Furthermore, the cashier i believe is named Celina, who handled my transaction, was incredibly rude throughout the entire interaction. She made unnecessary remarks and asked personal questions that were entirely unrelated to the purchase. It left me feeling uncomfortable and frustrated as a customer at Rusty's NoFrills.I believe customer service should be a top priority for any establishment, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. As the owner, Rusty should be aware of the behavior of his staff and the overall shopping experience at his store. It is important for the staff to maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards customers.

I went yesterday and purchased a couple of items from No Frills Colborne Street. Sadly, I saw that the price dropped the next day and decided I would save some money by going to that store and returning then rebuying it for that new lower price. The owner then denied me that right and when in the end I decide to just return it, he denied me that too! This was extremely disappointing of this store and I'm not sure if this was rudeness or straight up racism (I'm not white and the owner was). Anyways, this situation has completely ruined my week and now I simply avoid No Frills completely. I hope you can resolve this issue soon or at least make sure this never happens to anyone else.

I was at the Rusty's NoFrills and they refused to honour the pricing of the Farmers Market Butter Croissants that were promotionally priced at $2.99.(PC Optimum offer) 1st she said it was my fault for not scanning my card, which was the first thing I did.Than the excuse was that it was not the same product, reviewed the offer line by line, but in agreement with her supervisor still refused to honour the pricing eventhough it matched every criteria. By this time she was being rude. Her supervisor walked away without a word. She was being a Karen" not expecting an educated visible minority for a customer. This place has been consistently notorious for ripping trusting customers off. If I was not mindful and willing to walk away

Rusty's NOFRILLS is walkable about 20min walk from my place. I liked having our groceries here because the veggies are always fresh and their breads as well. Inside the store is clean and items are just stacked well & are easy to find. Cahiers are friendly too.

I was at the location this evening. Literally just left a few moments ago. I was cashing out to the cashier and I said hello she looked through me and didn't say a word. I then ask her how are you doing today and she still didn't respond. Then she continued and cash me out with out talking. It was so bad that she didn't even say my total or even ask for if I was paying by cash or card. I paid for my stuff said have a good one, she stood there and looked right through me. Then after a caucasian gentleman came to cash out and asked her how are you doing? then she was so very talkative with me it blew my mind. Never in my life have I've ever felt such racial tension. Very very poor service on her part.

Didn't get all the groceries I needed. Lots of stuff around, but no greeting from any of them to busy to fool around with each other. Somehow parking isn't much fun either. Good deal on strawberries, but they got moldy very quick, so I guess now we know where the prize was coming from. Ailes are super small, had to back up to let people pass. Other customers didn't seem to enjoy them self's there either.Two stars are for the average costs of groceries.

Lame price matching. Won’t price match produce unless it originates from the same country as the competitors ad. Sorry but that seems super shady to me. If it’s the same size and same product they should price match, I literally price matched same product I was refused at this location in the Paris location yesterday with no fuss. Every time I come here I remember why I don’t usually come here. Cashiers are also much friendlier at the Paris location also. End of rant!

Lose the points/club card No Frills. Such a scam. No Frills increase prices way too high and offer these club discounts. In the end club members pay normal/high prices thinking they're getting a big deal...Keep your club card thanks... Years ago grocery chains were caught doing this and received serious backlash from government and consumers.How quickly we forget.

This is one of the smaller No Frills in the city so sometimes the selections are limited. There is no Pharmacy here with Pharmacists. The shopping carts are $1 as oppose to $0.25 at other grocery locations.This No Frills carries a lot of the grocery basics that you would need. Fairly clean location with decent assortment of fresh produce and somewhat well stocked shelves (depending on time of day and day of week).Parking lot can get chaotic at times as it is a small but busy parking lot with lots of traffic.No self check out kiosks here. Lots of registers opened on a weekend though.

The cashier I had on Sat. evening smelled of alcohol, she never swiped my Optimism card and I had over five hundred in groceries, she seemed rude so I asked to speak with her manager.The young woman was unapologetic, said she was too busy in her job to rescan my groceries,I pointed out it was the cashier who failed to do her job and request my Optimum Card ss I was busy packing my foodShe still refused , so I said calmly I eas easwould take my business elsewhere, she basically said she was unconcerned, and waddled off.I finished packing my food and when I looked for the two boxes of pasta I bought to throw in the food bank cart by the exit, it was not thereShe, the cashier had STOLEN IT and hid it around her cash register...I just left.I won't be shopping there no moreNo frills in West Brant..---N.F.G.
