Horrible. If you can get through to them (and I that's a BIG if) they can't really offer much assistance. They often misplace paperwork, files, tax info and are very slow fixing their mistakes. You used to be able to physically go into the office, but not anymore without getting through on the phone first, which is a Herculean task. Underfunded, unorganised, unsympathetic.

The people who administer the program are puppets to the Kenny government or any government in power at the moment. The people who administer the program get the money while the ones who need it die on the streets. It's an absolute travesty what the government does to the people that are disabled in the province of Alberta. Shame shame shame on you. UPDATE: Christina Jones is a wonder! Lack of communication skills and lack of understanding for her clients.

I'm really grateful for the folks at the Red Deer AISH office. I had a few questions today and the receptionist was great. She alleviated all of my concerns. Also, Beverly my worker is great too. I feel like they do care about us despite high work loads, dealing with the worst provincial government in history and not enough pay for what they are expected to do.
