Shoppers Drug Mart

Everytime I get my prescriptions filled at the 405 Dundas E location , they are wrong. This time I received Salbutamol instead of ventolin. There has been a note on my file for 5 years. This causes me to make extra trips across town so they can fix it. The last mistake they gave me a diabetic monitor that didn't go with the strips. I am now switching pharmacies, which is inconvenient for me, but I fear the negligence at this pharmacy may affect my health. Get it together Shoppers!!!

Inconsistent customer service. Especially different rules for different people i guess. A customer walked out with a beauty bag as I walked into the store and when I asked for one for my transaction of 3 items customer service representative said we don’t carry those bags at this location. I have shopped at this location before and they always had those bags. If you are doing two separate transactions apparently you can not use your pc optimum on the second transaction. I had never had to go through this process at any other shoppers in Belleville or GTA.

I really don't understand all the negative reviews?? I've been a regular customer for years. Always treated with respect and my prescriptions filled in timely manner. Was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and its very complicated learning the process. My pharmacist spent at least an half hour showing me the proper methods. And even called me the next day to see how I was making out. That's what I call going the extra mile.

I am normally not a person who makes a comment in a review, but I only want customers placing prescriptions for compounds that are mixed at the pharmacy to be aware. First of all, the pharmacy team should have suggested a pharmacy that strictly does compounding and since I am retired they did not even call my insurance provider to see if any of the ingredients were covered. I was charged every month an additional fee of around $20 to make the compound. Total cost of around $60. and putting an expiration date on it. This week I contacted a compounding pharmacy and had my prescription transferred. The new Pharmacist was even kind enough to call my insurance provider and I have saved an extra $23. The total cost of my prescription was $50, that included the dispensing fee of $11, and an expiration date of 5 months. For the last year and 1/2 I have paid a fortune to the pharmacist of Shoppers Drug Store on Dundas Street Belleville

Asked to have a prescription refill request sent to my doctor. Pretty standard procedure, been doing it for years. For some reason this took over a week despite my calling and checking in with the pharmacy multiple times- when my dr finally received the prescription request it was illegible. She sent the prescription for me anyways after I spoke to her but this pharmacy is beyond incompetent. I called to make sure my prescription was ready, was told yes it was. When I showed up, it wasn’t ready and I was told to wait twenty minutes. Almost an hour later and I was finally given a prescription- which was for another patient and the completely wrong medicine.Beyond unacceptable. You people realize that most prescriptions are medically necessary and your incompetence is dangerous? Given the way this situation was dealt with it’s pretty obvious you just don’t care. Pharmacists at other shoppers have issued me a small amount of my prescription and charged me a fee in the past, so I know this is possible. This pharmacist took delight in refusing me any assistance and telling me to get lost, blaming my doctor when it was them not sending the prescription request/not making it legible that caused the ridiculous delay. Please fire this person and find someone who actually cares about helping people.

Terrible pharmacy that refused to upload my Covid vaccination results. On several occasions, I spent more than twenty minutes waiting for some one to answer the phone. If you value your Health, do not use this pharmacy -- given their incompetence, who knows what pills they might distribute or what medicines they might inject. -- Dr. Brian Way

Horrible pharmacist, horrible customer service, attitude, transgender, non-capable of doing her job correctly.I will be going to a different shopper is because the disgust & attitudeHire actual people that know how to work in the medical field.1/10 I will be calling shoppers headquarters for this disgust.Recommend going to a shoppers, that’s not ran by ignorant childrenThe Horrible workers name is chelsey or whatever she prefers to be called.

Update your store hours online if you've changed your hours to close at 10 instead of 12. Sign outside and website says close at 12am but a little paper on the door says that's no longer. Drove 20 minutes to get here to find it closed.

Store closed before 11 last night and still says open until 12 everywhere. Thanks for the heads up! Head office says it is because they have no employees. Before you make the same mistake of driving there to lights off like many of us did, because they can’t be bothered to update their information before making changes like this, hopefully you read this comment in time before wasting your money and time.

The pharmacist accused us of misusing our sons medication when the pharmacist technician admitted to us a few days before that they messed up and shorted us on one and gave to much on another we have 2 kids on tge same med then threatened to call CAS on us stating false accusations DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR MEDICATIONS
