I was referred by my family doctor to a gynecologist Dr Catherine Owen. I have met few doctors for different treatments. I would sincerely say that Dr Owen is the best doctor I've ever had. She is very understanding, caring, she listens and very patient. I really like Dr Owen. She is the nicest. And I trust her.

Very Nice doctor , very friendly . I wish she gets a better front office staff .The admin staff has a cardboard personality absolutely no customer service skills what so ever.

The doctor wasn't as knowledgeable about ny issue as she seemed to think. During the last and final session, I got the impression she was also a little confused.I'm not surprised given the quality of Scarborough doctors. They leave a lot to be desired. As residents and tax payers, we deserve more.

If i had the chance I would go to any other doctor for an IUD. I have heard of many place making someone pick you up after and IUD or telling you to plan ahead to possibly skip work. With Dr Owen this was not the case. When I went to go see her for my initial appointment she wanted me to pick up the perspiration then and there, I respectfully declined. She assured me it is something I should do on my lunch break because it wont take long and I would have no issues.Fast forward to the appointment. The insertion was very painful and I had to get my husband to leave work to pick me up. I was in a lot of pain for 3 days so I went for an ultra sound where the Ultra sound person must have move it around because it stopped hurting after that.Fast forward to six months where I was removing an mental cup and it get ripped out... which should not be able to happen. Because of all of this I believe that she did not insert it properly and because of that I am short the 300$ for a new one. I would not go to her if you have the ability.On another note whenever I talk to people over the phone at this office they don't seem to care and have no information to help someone who has been to there clinic. They seem almost annoyed to answer questions. Yet another reason not to go here.

Reviews are real! Doctor is good. Receptionist is horrible. Rude, obnoxious and just bitter. It's a good thing Covid is only allowing my wife in as I happen to listen and wait outside until she goes in to see the doctor, otherwise I would definitely have a few words to correct her condescending tone and remarks. Addtionally, her tactics include calling you with an unknown number so you can't reach back. And if you manage to leave a message to Doctor's office then the receptionist will call you and immediately leave a message without you getting a ring. There is no way of getting in touch unless the receptionist feels like it.I just wish the Doctor reads this and take appropriate action as this behavior will continue to frustrate and turn away potential patients.

Very attentive and thorough. She has amazing knowledge and expert care and consult on varying gynaecological issues. My first visit and I feel well cared for.

I was referred to Dr. Owen and looking forward to receiving care as i have heard many great things. I find that it is nearly impossible to get in touch with the receptionist and my first impression was not so professional when I had mentioned that i was experiencing more pain and inquired if there was a chance of seeing the Doctor sooner. After my first appointment, I missed my 2nd appointment (over the phone) and immediately tried calling back 3 minutes afterwards as well as a few times within the next 10 minutes. In addition I have called back the next couple of days and there has been no answer. Seems nearly impossible to speak with front desk forget about seeing the dr.

Outstanding doctor. My wife was so fortunate to be treated by Dr owen. So skillful and great bedside manners. Truly exceptional doctor.

I’m so happy to say that I am lucky enough to get care from Dr. Owen. My family physician referred me and I was concerned about my high risk pregnancy. Dr. Owen is so professional, approachable and knowledgeable. Throughout the care I’m 100% satisfied with the care. I have noticed some people are saying about the office staff, honestly she’s nice and her way of talking makes people feel she’s rude.
