Love sanagans, the meat is excellent, their cassoulet and hunters pie are a pre Christmas staple for me, and I order my Christmas goose from them every year.And their pickled onions are a must !I shop in store and also order for delivery and their customer service for online orders is always fantastic.Keep up the great work!

They have excellent meat and if you can't find the cut of meat you want on display, they will try to find it and trim it to your liking. Friendly staff!

The only place I go to buy liver as I know their animals come from free-range and grass fed vendors that provide quality products from cared for animals.The staff is very friendly and they work so hard (I never see anyone grumpy and not working at 100%).Make sure you grab a number as soon as you walk in!

I'm not much of a meat-eater, but when I do eat meat, I only want the best of the best.That's why I always go to Sanagan's Meat Locker.They specialize in high quality meats from local family owned grass fed farms, and you can really taste the difference.The meat is always tender and juicy, and the flavor is out of this world.The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they're more than happy to answer any questions you have. I've never had a bad experience here, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great butcher shop.

I live near the market and this is my go to place for fresh produce. They have a wide selection of fresh cut meats from homemade sausages, grass fed local steaks, pate, broths to cheeses. The prices are fair and the customer service from the staff has always been prompt and friendly. The store itself is clean and they have a number system so it's streamlined.Overall the quality of the fresh meats are excellent. They also carry a lot of house made sausages, broths, and their house made roast beef is the best in the city. When I happened to have a have a problem with one of their products. The store manager was able to replace the product and take care of the inconvenience that it caused.Whenever you are in Kensington Market I would highly recommend come on by and see their offerings.

After two pandemic years without being able to celebrate Christmas with my family, I wanted to do so with the best possible products. Sanagan's did not disappoint, and the turkey was first-rate. When I arrived at the shop and noticed all the other wonderful goods, I felt like a child in a sweet shop and just kept adding to my order. Whether he turkey, the capon, the cheese, or the mincemeat, everything was delightful and contributed to my best Christmas in years. If there is one criticism, it is that looking back at my order, I cannot verify the farm whose turkey I had purchased. I shall happily return!

Kind and helpful people, meat of very high quality. Wanted to leave a comment for the gang, we purchased a jar of the homemade Kimchi and while it has a nice flavour profile, it is too salty to be eaten on its own. I figured you'd want to know so you can make it better for next time - great flavours just needs less salt! Will be back again soon.

So disappointed!Went here as I was in the area, paid $31 for 2lbs of oxtail, that's ok, my decision. Got home only to find 6 small pieces, then 2 of the largest bones I've ever seen that would need an electric saw to cut. I know, my fault for not doing a thorough examination of my purchase before leaving, so this is just to warn my fellow oxtail-buying public to be vigilant when buying.

High quality meat and sausages. Even though the prices are a little high but it worth it. Also great staff and service.
