CARSTAR Pembroke (Butler)

Took car to them, horrific service. Headlights wired wrong, and servo broken, also had to go back to get bumper repainted after it peeled not even a year after Wait time for car was unreasonable, rear camber is still bent out of position and causes uneven and unnecessary wear on tires to this day. Car should have been write off or suspension changed. Had dealership independently verify camber was off - they do not have an alignment machine at shop and paint matching is bad and they're are still nicks and spots on bumper where spots not painted at all and now have that risk...Have taken vehicle to them 4 times and highly unsatisfied. Management lied to my face and said the headlights where fine when I tried to have it rectified. I will never go back nor can I recommend this shop. Do NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU WANT ACCOUNTIBILTY.

Communication could have been better. I felt like I just dropped off my car and when I went to pick it up, I got a stack of papers saying what was done, but no one went through it with me, not even briefly.Having said that, my car was repaired in a timely manner and so far I have not had any repair come back to haunt me. They were professional, but if you're expecting alot of human interaction, you may not find it here. I wasn't mistreated, they just don't excel in face-to-face communication exchanges. I have no complaints about the work done though.

Spouse had car worked on here through insurance. Was not impressed with how the service was executed at all. Firstly the body work car stars did was fine however they replaced our damaged winter tire with a summer tire.... in the winter... secondly they sent the vehicle to a different business down the road which is fine however never informed us where the car was and what work was being done on the vehicle. Said it would take 10 days ended up taking 18 days and everyday after the 10 we would call and they would say yep done tomorrow... 3pm the next day we would call and they would say yes will be done tomorrow. This happened for approximately 7-9 days. In conclusion we were never informed what work was being completed, never given an accurate timeline, work done incorrectly and had to go back. Would not recommend.

Got a quote for damage done to my truck, they told me it would be 8 week wait time. 8 weeks later they told me it would be another 6-8 weeks.Communication was terrible with the shop.They never once called me I had to call them everytime. They refused to commit to a date I could get my vehicle repaired.I went with a different shop out of the area.

My experience here is one of the worst in my life dealing with a car repair facility. Absolutely horrible and the least transparent business practices I have even come across. Lied to my face and in writing to me. Will be discussing next option with lawyer. I’m my opinion you should Save yourself the hassle of months of trouble and go somewhere else.

Worst work from a body shop i have ever had done! Panels don't match up and the shop manager got agressive with me when i asked for things to be fixed right. I will never deal with them or anything owned by butler's again. MOST UNPROFESIONAL PLACE I HAVE EVER DELT WITH!!

Took my car here after being rear ended. They asked me to get a rental so they could colour match the bumper so I did. When they were finished, they hadn't colour match it. They told me they looked the car over make sure there wasn't anything else wrong (I had told them about a rattling noise that started after being rear ended. ) They reassured me all else was good and the rattling noise was gone. Rattling noise wasn't gone so when I took it back to them to get colour matched they looked at it again and realized the rear end bar was bent and the clips to secure bumper had broken and were rattling.So all in all, they didn't look at the bumper and related supports AT ALL. The whole process took over 2 months with me bringing back the car several times. DO NOT GO HERE.
