They do not care about reuniting pets with there owners. All they care about is draining your bank account and if you can not pay. They make over $400 selling your pet

Disappointing Experience with SPCA Customer ServiceI recently had a distressing encounter with the customer service staff at the SPCA. When I called to report an aggressive dog incident, the staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. Despite my attempts to explain the seriousness of the situation, she seemed disinterested and did not provide any assistance or support.The incident occurred while I was walking along the street. A large black dog rushed towards me and my child, barking aggressively. It was clear that the dog was not under proper control, as it was on a leash but managed to get dangerously close to us. I was genuinely scared for our safety, and my child was visibly terrified.However, the staff member I spoke with on the phone showed no empathy or concern for our wellbeing. She disregarded my explanation that this was not a normal bark, but rather an aggressive display of behavior. Instead of offering guidance or reassurance, she simply said, Dogs bark

Great staff. They helped me with providing temporary emergency shelter for my two cats. When we picked our cats up, they gave us an update on how our cats adapted or did not adapt to the environment. We are very thankful for them for taking care of our very precious cats.

Spoke with Carolina at the front desk. She was such a pleasure to chat with. As wanna be first-time dog owners, we were looking for some advice, and she had lots of it. Carolina, you are amazing. Thank you for all of the information. You have given us a lot of tools to work and search with. We are looking forward to finding a new family member, with a bit more confidence in our plan.

Tried to call in to ask for a lady I dealt with but couldn't remember the staffs name and the staff that answered the phone was very rude. Shouldn't be working at a SPCA with attitude not helpong people

Ive always loved the BC SPCA. i wish there was more i could do to help out. My family and i always do what we can. Donating towels and blankets even dog food. I wish i could work there or even voulenteer and clean kenels and walk dogs. Or help out with the cats. But it seems practically impossible to even apply to do that. Heck ive even helped rescue a little very old wiener dog and she got reunited with her family. Id love to do more. Anyways as small as this ranch is the people are lovely and very helpful. Years ago my family adopted our cat who's now passed on Buddy. Formally names Butterscotch. The day he was going to be put down because he was unadoptable" turned out to be the best cat i eve owned. And my best friend."

Staff is super dismissive and rude over the phone. No empathy and treated me like I was stupid for asking for help. I don’t know where to turn anymore

We got a beautiful puppy to my friends son and I love the people who works there they were very helpful and professional

Thank you so much for cleaning my puppy when found. Service is expensive. It was almost $200 for a night. Rehoming lost animals within 72 hrs is a bit insensitive though

Only one poor little cat. Sad she was all alone. So thankful however for the SPCA! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
