Smith's Funeral Home Stoney Creek Chapel

Totally disappointed in the this establishment. Called twice to reserve a viewing ,was told I would get a prompt call back from a director. Never got that call. Called following day to try again and was told they were all booked. Would not recommend!!!

When i called about my mother's cremation remains, i was lied to by Dana Smith. I've been waiting for a call from their director and was told i would be called today. when i called to question her, what i was told was, she was on the phone and i would get a call back. low and behold the director was on vacation for the week. i was told she was off Wednesday. Now i cannot get my mother's remains. what a disgusting thing to do to someone.Your reply does not excuse the lies told to me. By Dana Smith. Now my mother's remains sit in limbo because not one family memberother than me and my girls actually cared while she was alive. It's sad that i have to contact a lawyer to bring her home with me. I hope you do not get treated this way. It's pathetic

I can't say enough positive things about Smith's Funeral home in Stoney Creek. Sean and the whole team really take care of you from start to finish. This was my first funeral and the team made the who process really easy. They take care of all the hard work and educate you on the things you don't even know when a family member has passed. Very reasonable pricing as well.

I have used Smith's for both my parents passing. The staff are wonderful, thoughtful and let me make decisions when I was ready. I couldn't recommend them more.

Ten years ago we lost our father and smith's funeral home made it so easy and comfortable, especially in these tough times. Helping us go threw with the arrangements. Our Mother passed yesterday again we give Smiths funeral home the opportunity to service are family again. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and every detail is reviewed in these tough times the funeral home is clean and the staff is very friendly, their sitting or chatting room is also spotless if you like to sit or have a coffee with a love one.On behave of my intire family I would like to say thank you, am sure all of our family's business will come your way as a few have already have pre funetal arrangements done.Once again thank you .

Very lively attn atmosphere

This is to rectify the comments made by Kathy (Wilt) Bertrand.The only Truth about my sister's post (Kathy Bertrand is her name and the entity she is referring to. If Kathy does not get her way she does bad reviews about the business she is dealing with. If a family member does not give into her requests she proceeds to post negative nasty comments online and sometimes calls the police.Smith's Funeral Home treated our deceased mother and family members professionally and respectfully.As the eldest of my mother's children and just one of the 31 family members we wish to thank Smith's Funeral Home for all that they did for us.James Jones

My father was a very active member of the community and requested his funeral be at Smith's Funeral Home in Stoney Creek. The staff took such great care of my Dad, and us, during the most difficult time of our lives. They were so respectful, attentive and thoughtful during our grief. I highly recommend this funeral home to anyone who is unfortunate to lose a loved one. They will take great care.
