What an incredible store! There is a wide range of top brands and also local makers! They support their community unconditionally and I’m so happy to have this locally owned store In our town! I truly feel like family when I enter their doors! Sometimes I secretly take time off fishing to go in and learn some tips and tricks, Jay has been incredibly informative with me when it comes to gear and set ups when it comes to species specific fishing! There are many things to prepare for when Targeting certain fish and he’s truly made me a better angler thanks to his amount of knowledge! I look forward to to each visit! Their family run establishment is incredible!

I stopped by this gem of a store to buy some Christmas stuff for my hubby. I am not a fisherman and my knowledge of fishing gear is zero. There was a large selection of various items and the owners (I assume) were incredibly friendly providing informative product suggestions. I did not feel overwhelmed or pressured to buy unnecessary items despite the fact my expertise in this hobby was apparent. Would 100% recommend this store to anyone with fisherman in their lives or fisherman themselves.

I recently went into Hooked Up Fishing and found the service to be great! It’s great to have a fishing store out west that is well stocked with everything a local fisher needs, plus more is coming. In house made plastics and painted jigs tells me that the Owner really does have an interest in fishing - not like some of the big box stores. I was especially impressed when i mentioned that I was going for Lakers and his knowledge on the subject was more than I anticipated and very helpful. I’ll be back to buy more!

Fantastic family owned tackle shop, tons of in house made jigs all kinds of variations scented etc right up to large grubs. Owners Jay and Danielle are more than helpful and very knowledgeable. Great selection of rods bags and accessories, very good pricing on great quality gear. You can’t miss going to hookedup fishing gear.

Hooked Up Fishing Gear & Outdoors
We drove up from Cochrane to check out Jay’s store and we were NOT disappointed. We purchased a Taylor fly rod from here and by far one of the best rods we have tried out so far. We also bought a bunch of Jays handmade lures and are looking forward to using them this weekend! If you are in need of any fishing gear definitely recommend this place! The customer service is also hands down! Highly recommend!

It was about time someone opened a fishing store out west of the city, and it's even better that it's family owned and operated. I picked up some of their self made grubs and wow I gotta say, I'm impressed. Very durable and really unique color options.They have one on display and you can really reef on it and test its durability. I would definitely recommend stopping by meeting the owners and checking out all the awesome products!

Brian and I first heard of a new fishing gear supplier a few weeks ago. We made a fast trip over to see what they had to offer. We are owners of Fish Rule Custom Adventures guiding company and we have not been satisfied with the big suppliers in Edmonton. We need custom gear and personal service to give our customers the best experience on the water. Guess what ? we walked into the store and met Jay and Danielle. They told us what their vision was and it was right up our alley. Next we were shown a first class store with custom made Jigs and Soft Baits. Fishing Rods and Gear from some suppliers that we had never heard of and the quality was first class. We ordered our first custom made jigs and soft baits and will be back for much more in the future. This was a badly needed company here is Spruce Grove and is worth the short drive from Edmonton and Area. Congrats Jay & Danielle and we will see you often in the future.

This place is great! I went and met the owner Jay and his wife Danielle at this store and they were beyond helpful with everything I needed for my ice fishing season. The fact so many things are made in house and such a amazing bargain prices, makes me keep going here! Jig heads, grubs, and everything else! Go see Jay! Thank you hooked up fishing gear!
