My husband and I always love coming here! Went in today for brunch and were very impressed with the quality of our food. Shawana was very lovely to have as our server!

Food is decent and the atmosphere usually isn’t bad. There is a server that is a little unbearable, slow, and not that friendly until the end of the meal where they’ll buddy buddy, I’m sure just to influence your tipping choice. Happened the last three visits

Eggs were like rubber, bacon was cooked to perfection. Though. There needs to be a bit more bean juice in the coffee though. Should not be called coffee, my grandpa would call it dirty dish water. Waitress CLEARLY was not having a good day. We could hear the kitchen conversation... not cool folks, not cool at all. It was quite empty for what we thought would be a busy time 9am-ish music or TV were way too loud though. And we could STILL hear the kitchen staff over that. Seriously though that needs to be addressed the most.

No one goes to smittys for the atmosphere.... which was stale and stagnant at best.As food goes it didn't taste great but not bad.... textbook standard for what dennys is supposed to offer.The server was admittedly new, and not bad.Other than filling ones stomach out of necessity there's nothing bad, but nothing great about this place.

The waitress wasn't terrible, she was friendly and kind but she seemed a little put off when I complained about my bacon not being crispy after I specifically asked for crispy bacon. So they cooked it to the point it was burnt and you could litterally crumble it in your hand. The only thing that tasted good was the cubed hashbrowns but they lacked any flavouring. The eggs were over cooked and your given 1 jam and 1 peanut butter for your toast. I took a before picture but forgot to take an after picture of the bacon.

The server with the cast was more interested in talking ro coworkers or being on the phone. Worst service I have ever had in an almost empty restaurant. My food order had eggs and they were over cooked. I didn't get the chance to tell the server because I was too hungry to take the chance to send it back and having to wait for good eggs. I should have known it was going to be a poor experience with the parking lot so empty.

We regularly visit the lounge for Sunday morning breakfast, to the point I think we have become regulars. Our waitress has our orders memorized and is very quick to serve us. One thing I can always rely on is the speed at which the kitchen can get us our meals. Overall, good experience and decent what I will call diner" food."

Came in today for breakfast and placed my order which I spoke clearly when I told the waitress what I would like. The food took about half an hour almost an hour just for my order to be wrong all that had to be remade was the omelette. But it seemed like because the waitress made the mistake my order got pushed back further down the line I waited a hole other hour and got frustrated and said I wanted my food to go. I received my food in a to go box just to find its cold and way less potatoes then before and it's the reason I didn't leave a tip on already $23 bill this is terrible service on everyone in the lounge not at all how you deal with mistakes I will never be coming back here if I wasn't so nice I would have made a scene and asked for the manager and explained im not paying for this meal. I should ask for a refund but I almost guarantee it won't happen.

Ordered through skip, skip screwed it ip and it took over 2 hrs and wasn’t delivered so I cancelled and put it through smittys website. 15 minutes later I picked it up and guess what, they just recycled the same 2hr old meal that’s absolutely inedible and cold. Completely unacceptable.

Our waitress was awesome but they were clearly understaffed, my daughter LITERALLY had 15 fries with her meal, the salsa with my nachos came in a cup the size of a thimble and when I asked for more the waitress told us she’ll get in trouble if she gives me a cup bigger.. the owners here and clearly trying to cut costs and the Smittys name is suffering for it. I hope someone in the head office steps in.I will also be contacting the head office
