Unique and different tasting Japanese cuisine.I do not eat sushi but had a Japanese version of fettuccine where upon noodles where used, the cream sauce was out out of the world tasting.My dinner companions indicated not a true tradition place to eat sushi". They had extremely tasty sushi-kind of options to eat that were very good regardless.Servers were excellent!"

We first visited this fabulous Izakaya pre-pandemic and just realized today that we didn't leave a glowing review after that visit.So today one of us was passing through Edmonton on business and decided to pop in to see if these folks were still killing it - and they most certainly are.The food is fabulous: had their famous Shaka Shaka Fries and a generous rice bowl of perfectly on point Katsu Curry. Both were excellent and worthy of the glowing reviews.The best part of the visit, however, was the incredibly warm and genuinely friendly service. These folks know how to make someone feel at home, and clearly have a lot of regulars because of that (met a couple today).Put simply, Edmonton has a real gem here. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience here. I didn't want to drink and the lady offered some non alcoholic blue drink. I can't remember what it was, but it was good. I got some small clam shell dish and the appetizers with the raw octopus. It was very good. Staff was very nice to me.I been here twice. It was always packed and I always had a good experience.

Great food and reasonable prices. We saw everyone ordering Karaage Chicken but it wasn’t all that great, way larger pieces of chicken than I typically enjoy, but the pressed sushi was great. Definitely worth a visit. The only other knock I have is that when it gets really busy some of the tables are in some pretty high traffic areas. Not much that the restaurant can do about this but be wary if you were hoping for a quiet night out.

It was my 10th marriage anniversary yesterday.Pros:Food was served so fast. Bluefin tuna really fresh.Cons: Ramen is a little bit salty. Beef tataki very salty! I don’t like it! Fried chicken is fine but don’t compare with the professional fried chicken restaurant.We ordered Yuzu Cider and Tokyo, both tasted so so. Food is overpriced with less amount.

Highly recommended by my sister, the place was really nice and the staffs were very friendly.The food was good, but the pressed salmon sushi was the star. It was absolutely creamy and delicious.We also got the Unagi and Udon, which was good. I ordered a screwdriver which tasted more like juice and less alcohol for 10 bucks. So there’s that, but overall really nice place. Must visit in white Ave.

The food was amazing! Definitely reccomend any of the pressed sushis, we ordered more of them after. The cabonara udon is interesting and very creamy. Had the lychee cocktail which was really nice!The server was very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining any questions we had. It was my friend's birthday and they were gifted a little free dessert with a sparkler!The ambiance is nice and cozy, the washrooms were also well kept. Will come again!

The ramen is good, a bit too garlicky to our liking. The overall quality is good though. But the staff cramped us on a long table along with other guests. I was almost rubbing my elbow against another guest, that's how cramped the staff got us to be. I didn't understand the reasoning because there are plenty of unoccupied tables.

Absolutely love dining here! It is almost full every time we go, so if you’re going as a large group it is advised to book ahead! The service is amazing too! The carbonara udon noodle and sushi’s are to die for !! The chicken karagee was so crispy yet juicy !
