Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge
Had some time to kill between appointments and stopped into Starbelly. Olivia greeted me with a friendly smile and got me seated and with a drink. I ordered the baked brie and it was served warm and dripping I honey with a sprinkle of chipotle salt. It was a nice break, and friendly service.

Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge
Had dinner here and it was a great experience. The waitress was friendly and attentive.Food here is generally pretty good. We got a lot of the appetizers including pork belly, tuna tartare, beef tartare and baked Brie. The baked Brie is definitely my favourite - the combination of the Brie, honey and crostini worked very well. I also recommend the pork belly, it’s crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and the sauce pairs with it extremely well.For main I got the beef short rib with mushroom risotto. Unfortunately the short rib was not very well flavoured and also was not that tender. The risotto was nice but also felt like it lacked flavor.We got the coffee cake and panna cotta for dessert. We got two of each and noticed the panna cotta varied in taste (one tasted a lot creamier than the other).Overall was a good meal but the main dish and the lack of consistency for their panna cotta leads to the 4 star.

And I’ve been to Starbelly a few times over the years. In the past, I would’ve highly recommended this spot for food, atmosphere, and service. Sadly, I have come to downgrade the overall rating to about a 3 1/2. The atmosphere remains airy, bright and welcoming….They’ve done a really great job on the interior design. Service was fantastic each time I went, too.The food, however, during a large brunch gathering recently left much to be desired. The sides were cold, the dishes themselves did not have any distinctive flavor, which was a huge let down.

Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge
A most comfortable spot to brunch in Seton! The food was pretty good but the best part of our brunch experience was the ability to converse in a relaxed and not overly loud environment.Our waiter was super nice and attentive, we did not feel any pressure to finish up. The restaurant is clean, organized and so well lit with a lot of natural light. I enjoy looking at what I put into my mouth so well-lit restaurants always score bonus points with me.Also extra points for a nice washroom and great quality napkins.I'd definitely would be interested to come back and try their full lunch or dinner menus!

Spacious and nicely decorated restaurant. Great services.Food and drinks options are a bit limited. Everything was definitely on the pricey side. Overall, it was a decent experience.

Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge
This is one of my favourite restaurants in the south. Service has always been amazing and I’ve always been happy with the food. However, I was underwhelmed by the brunch menu during my visit yesterday. I asked for a lunch menu but was informed that the full menu was not offered till 2 PM on Saturdays.My chicken and waffle was just ok. I didn’t mind the disappointment with the food as the service was incredible.I’ll probably not come back for lunch on the weekend but will definitely visit again for dinner.

One of my favorite restaurants in Calgary.They have great service! The staff are friendly and the overall experience is great!The food tastes really good especially the pork belly it was very flavorful.The atmosphere is very elegant and very nice.Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a elegant atmosphere with delicious food.

Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge
For the most part I’ve enjoyed many of the dishes I’ve tried here. The drinks are okay and the appetizers are wonderful. The service has been extremely hit or miss at this location. I’ve had both good and terrible service at different times. Overall, I would go back, especially for the beef tartare!

We got here around 5pm on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away without wait time.Staff are super friendly.We ordered Smoked Old Fashioned and Peach Margarita from the happy hour menu. I have to say, the old fashioned was top notch in town! Smooth and well balanced with orange bitter and sugar. The peach margarita was absolutely tasty too!Actually, what earned the five stars was the bourbon glazed pork belly! It's crispy on the skin side, tender on the meat, and not greasy from the layer of fat. The thick cut pork was glazed in apply honey sauce.We also ordered chicken burger and Starbelly burger. They weren't as wow" as the pork belly. But

Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge
A really enjoyable experience. 4 of us had lunch, the menu has something for everyone and the food is very good quality, fresh, hot and tasty. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the burger and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were fresh and looked and tasted home made. Dessert was a hit as you can see by the picture I almost didn't get a shot before it was gone. My only beef was no gravy on week days just the weekend! What's with that? Fries need gravy every day of the week! I will let that pass this time but hope to see that change for the future! Thanks guys for a great lunch.
