Note: The Ottawa store is no longer listed on Yi Fang's website so likely permanently closed.If I can give this Ottawa stor3 zero star, I would.Came and store during listed time weekend only on google where it was closed, and even the hours of operation sign was off. Called and voicemail only. They called back and claimed they are temporarily closed for a month for renovation, but those tend to have a sign.I asked them to put up a sign or change hours on Google and the person said they lost access to everything. I wonder if they have been locked out by landlord since if they are truely renovating they can easily put up a sign.I said they should do some basic things such as sign and/or Google hours (last updated 10 weeks ago around end of April to weekends only) to prevent people from wasting their time. They claim I was rude and I should not call them. If it is an ongoing concern, pretty bad customer service... they did not speak like owners who plan to open up in a month.

Located where ShareTEA used to be.Good selection of teas on their menu. Seems a lot more “authentic” than other bubble tea shops. Teas are strong tasting and have a great flavour to them.Very generous amounts of toppings.The place is small and nicely decorated. Store was clean and Staff are friendly :)

Got the pashion fruit tea and it looks nothing compared to what it was advertised, it looks like it went bad and is curdling. The drink itself taste like water with 2 passion fruit seeds squeezed in it. The pearls tasted like it was sitting for hours due to it being translucent and being incredibly delicate. The milk tea was 100% sweetness but I can’t taste an ounce of sugar in the drink at all. Again, it says it’s made with black tea but I simply cannot taste it.

First time there. The milk two was a little watered down. Not as strong as the other shops I’ve been to. The boba pearls are smaller which was nice and easier to chew. But overall taste was not as flavourful.

I know Yifang 一芳 from Taiwan.Ordered an Oolong Fresh Milk tea, without sugar and without ice.Tasted good at the beginning but it could be a little be stronger, stronger taste of Oolong.It's fine, will compare with others

This is definitely the FAKE Yifang. We’ve been to all the Yifang in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and the US so we know very well what tea Yifang uses. The boss obviously just franchised it to use the name but gets the cheap material instead. Sorry but they only can trick tourists or anyone who never tried Yifang.

Edit: dropped from 5 to 4 stars. Came here for a second time and got my usual pineapple green tea and tried the wintermelon lemon tea. This time the pineapple green tea had no pineapple flavour in the drink and the pineapple chunks were bland and old, like they were sitting in water and lost its flavour. The wintermelon tea was super sour and bitter at 30% sugar. I'll give it a third try and make a final verdict about quality and consistency.********I got the Oolong milk tea with pearls and grass jelly and the pineapple green tea with aiyu jelly.I regularly go to Yi Fang in the GTA and finally visit this Ottawa location to see how they compare. Happy to say that they're almost the same. The grass jelly here isn't as smooth but the drinks taste the same.Service was friendly and quick, and the location is quite clean. I'll have to come back to see if they're consistent.

Grass jelly was bad, didn't feel good at all after drinking. Very low customer volume, be extremely careful if ordering from there. Saw another 1 star review which seems to corroborate spoiled ingredients.

I got the Fruit tea with 50% sugar and less ice. My drink was delicious! They have a good selection of drinks and some of their offerings were quite unique (excited to see they offer aiyu and golden jelly).Update: Got fruit tea with 50% sugar again but it was definitely less sweet than last time. Some consistency issues with the drink making

Super impressed with this little goodies by Yi Fang. Will definitely be stopping in time and time again to have my Yi fang Fruit Tea. Pearls were perfect. An actual fresh tea drink with fresh fruits, not overly sweet and just right.
