Jose’s was an amazing experience!! I am typically very picky when I eat Mexican, I have to say the food was very good!! The meal I had was probably one of the best Mexican plates I’ve had. The amount of food you get was great, the prices were very good as well! Their back patio views added even more to the scenery! Can’t wait to be back!!

Food was decent, but they screwed up one of our orders & we had to wait another 15 minutes to get the food corrected & then our food was cold. Our waitress was super sweet, but like most anywhere now, overworked. The atmosphere was perfect out on the deck.

food was ok, had way better in Chicagoland. Service was slow but it was busy so understandable. My biggest issue was I asked for spicy salsa, I don't mind being charged for salsa but they charged $5 for a small bowl of salsa barely enough for a few people at our table. I wish they would not charge OR if they do disclose how much it is when you order since it's not on the menu. Would not go back here overpriced for what the quality is.

Food was amazing. Chicken habenero pineapple tacos were fire! The hot sauce is no joke! The steak tacos were excellent and we loved the view! If you want Mexican in the UP this is your spot!

Hear ye hear ye, I proclaim there is good Mexican food in St Ignace MI! I was pleasantly surprised to find such good Mexican food this far north of the southern border. The Horchata wasn’t bad either. The Birria Bites, California Burrito and deep fried ice cream were delicious. Very flavorful! Staff were very helpful as well.

Walked in and got a tables on the deck at 6. We had the fish tacos which comes with 3 but added the fourth so we could share. They are noted for this dish and rightfully so. Very good it was.The view from the deck was great with many people on the water edge

Drove to St. Ignace across the bridge from Mackinaw City for something to do and stumbled across this nice spot with Lake & Straight view.The salsa and chips started things off well with a good spice to the salsa. My quesabirria tacos were so delicioso that I even forgot to take a picture.Family enjoyed the meal and our waitress did a nice job, but could have been a bit more attentive with beverage refills and, service and checking us out with the bill. We sat outside so perhaps got lost in the shuffle. Definitely consider this location if you’re crossing into the U.P. In town and want una comida mexicana excelente.

amazing! best chicken fajita's ever- fresh, hot, and flavorfulwe love the queso and guac!+ the shredded beef plate was awesome too!
