Hyatt Place Edmonton-West

We’re here on a family vacation for a couple nights. The common areas are nice and clean and the front desk is super helpful and nice. Our disappointments come from the room first and foremost. We’re here with 3 teens and it seems like we’ve been put in the middle of a bunch of families with very young kids on the third floor. The room we have is an adjoining room and they put us next to a brand new baby who cried for hours straight last night. It sounded like the baby was practically in our room, probably due to the door being in the middle of us. I just feel like those things can be scheduled a bit better when checking in. We almost asked to switch rooms this morning but that’s packing up four suitcases and all our snacks and stuff so we didn’t bother. BTW, the hotel is certainly not full. Secondly, there is no way these are queen beds. The room advertises 2 queen beds and a pullout couch which seemed perfect for a family of 5 but the beds are so small that my husband and I and our 2 teens daughters aren’t comfortable. Pretty certain these are double beds. The breakfast is, again, just ok. The hot food items are nice but this morning the scrambled eggs were burnt. Everything was subpar. I guess you can’t complain much when it’s free. I think this hotel is probably great for young families. It’s just not somewhere we’d stay again.

Went here for a work function and as someone who does not drive this location is horrendous to reach on foot.The staff here were nice and kind. The venue looked nice and clean and generally it had a pretty good vibe going on. With that said I didn't have an opportunity to look at the rooms but for a work meeting it was alright.

This place is the best rated in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you choose this place you definitely will love it I'm sure!Had a fantastic stay. Close to the mall, very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and beds were excellent. Good breakfast selection. Nice little pool but it was fairly busy when we were there.

This hotel is close to West Edmonton Mall and other stores like Walmart. McDonald's and Tim Hortons are also close. Gas stations are in the area and access to highway is there. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing! They had great varieties to choose from and a decent seating area. It was well stocked and good hot and cold options. My only complaint is the pool and hot tub. Pool and pool surround were dirty and extremely cold. They ran out of towels and it was not refilled. Hot tub was very hot and small. The gym is right beside the pool and had a few pieces of equipment but it was good for a quick workout.

Beautiful hotel! We had a two queen room with a couch. Great view, great location close to the West Edmonton Mall, decent buffet breakfast. We found our room really chilly but housekeeping was fantastic to give us extra blankets for the beds. Only real dislike was the sliding glass door to the bathroom. It was loud and clunky.

Not a bad place/price for a Hyatt place. Keep in mind they don’t really do room service unless requested and they seem to be only doing express room service. If you don’t drive then surrounding area has nothing much going for it though you can get to the Mall by bus or 30 minute walk.Breakfast is typical and not that special. My pet peeve is you have to grab your complimentary water bottles if you have statusIn summary, not that nice of a place even if you are Globalist.

Stayed here for ~3 weeks in April and May, definitely recommend.The location is convenient, less than 10 min drive to West Edmonton Mall, walking distance to the nearby Walmart.The rooms are nice and clean, standard Hyatt Place rooms and relatively new. There is also a small gym and pool onsite.All the staff (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and etc) are super nice and helpful. I do appreciate all their help and service.The only complaint is the network, it's enough for everyday use and remote work, but not very fast (~15 Mbps IIRC). Need to re-authorize each device every 24 hours, which is a hassle if you stay long and have multiple devices. The ethernet doesn't provide a faster speed.

Good experience. Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I am definitely coming back with my family next time.

Had a really nice stay here. We were here for 3 nights, the included breakfast was good, options for everyone, and it wasn't the same every day. We took some time to enjoy the pool too, the kids loved it! The rooms were nice too, we heard a lot of people in the halls at times but there were a lot of kids staying so it wasn't a big deal to us (we were one of those families lol). The hardest part was getting to the hotel since it's on a One Way street with 4 lanes of traffic! Other than that, I'd recommend staying here!

This resort is one of the most well known in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it.Hyatt Hotels in any town has quickly become my favorite chain to stay at for buisness or vacation. This Edmonton West location was awesome! Great service, large and clean rooms, easy parking, and found the price was perfect for what you get. Beautiful pool, relaxing lounge and a hot breakfast were also nice perks to the hotel. Will be back! :)
