Cool place to eat, seems more like a trucker bar and grill, the food portions are huge... And they make awesome fried pickles. Amazing fish and chips. Very loud so the server may not hear you easily.

pizza is hot on demand, waitresses on duty was busy and friendly to all. Parking lot is muddy and uneven terrain, nice little bar to stopover

Needed a break and a couple drinks. Busy restaurant on a Wednesday night, but the beer was ice cold, food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I had the meatball sub and fries. The addition of lettuce and tomato was a little different, but a great contrast to the sauce and meatballs. The fries are fantastic and you definitely get a decent portion. The burger looked amazing. Lots of bacon and the perfect amount of other toppings. Would definitely recommend.

White River is a classic stopping stop on the great Western/Eastern journey.If you hit it on a Wednesday it’s wing night and worth the stop.

Love this place! Best food at any bar that I have been to! Tia is fantastic..just enough attention to know she cares but not enough to aggravate ya. Great job and always looking forward to my next visit!

Driving across Canada in our motorhome and stopped here on the way to Nova Scotia for supper and on the way home again because the food service and atmosphere were great. Met some local coal miners who helped us celebrate my husband's birthday!! Parking lot was big enough to accommodate our 38 motorhome and 24" trailer. Slept there for the night no problem"

Wed May 31st 1833hrs....waited forever to get a beverage on tap which was room temperature, while others that arrived after me got served before me. I was sitting at the bar and they walked up and got served. Waited over an hour just to get a menu....wish my regular waitress Diah was working....the customer service tonight is not what i have received in the past....tonight the waitress is overwhelmed but while steady its not super busy.

Spending the night in WR and had read good reviews about this place. Decided to do take out as we have the pup with us. Called in our order and it was ready quickly. Staff were friendly and the food delicious: had the fish and chips and one order was enough for both of us! Would easily recommend this place.
