Henny is an amazing photographer and an amazing person! She was so communicative the whole time leading up to the wedding, provided a lot of valuable guidance and advice, and she was so much fun to work with on our wedding day! She had us all laughing and I know she got so many amazing, genuine shots from the day. We received our sneak peek photos only a couple days after the wedding and they are incredible!!! I cannot wait to see the rest. Thank you Henny for making our big day extra special and capturing everything so beautifully!

Henny was an absolute dream to work with! We really wanted to capture candid, less posed shots of our wedding to show the special moments. We received our sneak peeks today and are over the moon. We’re both not super comfortable in front of the camera and Henny made everything feel so natural and chill. Her communication was great and she even offered some great pointers and advice for planning leading up to the big day. If you’re looking for a photographer in Vancouver who has a modern vibe, I highly recommend.

Henny did our elopement photos this past summer and we absolutely love them. She was very open to collaborate on our vision to ensure we got the photos and style we were looking for and she delivered. Henny is an absolute DREAM to work with! Shane and I got married at Bridges Restaurant on May 25th 2019. Henny is SO easy to hangout with and made my bridesmaids and I feel so comfortable on my wedding day. She was also so easy to contact throughout my planning process and not to mention her work is unreal! Her second shooter, Jong Sung, was also a favourite amongst my husband and his groomsmen. We got sneak peaks sent to us within 2 days after our wedding and we got our photos back in a very timely matter! Henny also sent us a special package in the mail of 5X7 prints that we were never expecting!!! She is the best xoxo

Henny is an amazing photographer and a beautiful storyteller! She is so gifted at capturing and framing all our special moments. She was our engagement photographer and we loved her style so much, we ended up changing our wedding photographer to her as well, and it was the best decision we’ve made! Henny is so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable from the start. Despite numerous postponements on our engagement shoot due to COVID, she was very flexible and catered to our schedule.The first thing we noticed about Henny is her warmth, which instantly put us at ease. Even my now-husband, who normally despises having his photos taken warmed up to the photoshoot quickly. It felt like we were having our photos taken by a friend, and all our photos were stunning! Henny also hustled like crazy for our elopement. She scoped out the place beforehand, dipped into glacier water, and ran back and forth to get us the perfect shots. Absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend her!

Henny, where do I even begin..Henny is fantastic! Her work speaks for itself clearly - she really has an eye, and is very much on the ball! She even manages to capture those moments where you might think « ah I wish someone caught that! ». But Henny’s incredible work goes beyond angles and exposure.. and that’s the energy she brings to the day! (Just look at the photo my dad got of her in action, you can really see her passion, and warm soul) She has wonderful cues, unique and beautiful ideas, and does it all in a way where we felt calm and comfortable. We were blessed to win 2 hours of her time as part of a giveaway and although I wasn’t checking the time I’m pretty sure she may have extended her generosity.. and if that’s not the case she managed to get A LOT done in the time that she was there! Having her as our wedding photographer was truly a dream come true!!! All of our wedding guests commented on how wonderful she was. I even have some sneak peak shots to share the day after the wedding! Thank you so much Henny!!

We can't recommend Henny enough if you're considering her as a photographer for your special event. Henny's eye for a beautiful picture was the reason we hired her, but it's certainly not the only thing that makes her exceptional. From the initial meeting with her, we both immediately noticed her warmth, passion and attention to detail. We both felt like she took the time to get to know us, and learn as much as she could about the sequence of events leading up to the big day. On the day, she was incredibly accommodating, easy-going and went out of the way to make sure that she not only got the perfect shot, but also that we were at our most comfortable while she was doing so (even bringing us food at one point!). I was nervous about doing my own hair and make-up for photos, and she was very supportive & re-assuring about all my decisions as a bride. She was the one who encouraged us to leave the party for a short time to have alone time, which ended up being one of my favourite memories of the day. She also went above and beyond the next day, when she encouraged us to do an impromptu sexy post-wedding bliss photoshoot (honestly, best decision, include this in your budget)! I can honestly say she didn't just document our day, she helped to make it even more special than it already was! Lastly, her pictures - as if they don't speak for themselves.... We just received our photos back this week, and looking at them transported me right back to the day of our wedding. She managed to capture not only moments, but the feelings and essence of the whole event. Her photos have brought me, and many of the friends & family I've shared them with, to tears (of happiness). Henny, I can't thank you enough for all the magical contributions you made to our day. We will treasure your photographs forever! <3 <3
