We hired the crew from Northern Oak to take out some walls and insert a couple of big steel i-beams into our house. They arrived when they said they would arrive and worked well within the quoted budget. All of the workers on the crew were pleasant and considerate to me as a customer. Brandon kept me up to date on the progress and if something unforeseen came up I was invited into the conversation to understand the decisions being made.

We hired Brandon and his team at Northern Oaks Group Inc. to remove a structural wall & two support posts and add two steel beams. They also relocated are laundry room from the main floor and created a new laundry room on the second floor. I would highly recommend Northern Oaks as they were very professional, on time, on budget and very accommodating to our needs during the process. Their quality of work & customer service are second to none, I would most definitely use them again. Living in a house during renovations is never easy, but Brandon, Joel & Jordan all made sure we were as comfortable as possible and we couldn't be happier with the final product.

The guys did a great job. Extremely nice finished work and a very competitive price. Even more than that, they were as unobtrusive as you could be doing major construction. It was a pleasure having them work on our home. Unreservedly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about Brandon and his team. They did a sizeable addition on our house, including an attached garage. I’m incredibly grateful our home was in their hands and I would work with them again in a heartbeat, because the whole process was very straightforward and just so easy. I was quite anxious about doing such a big project but found the entire experience to be surprisingly stress-free, because of the trust we were able to have in Brandon. It goes without saying that we love the final product/results!Brandon is incredibly kind, fair, and conscientious. His integrity and professionalism were evident from the first day we met with him to discuss our project. It was clear to us immediately that of all the builders/contractors we spoke to, he was the person we wanted to work with. Our instincts were confirmed when we spoke with several previous clients, as they were enthusiastic and said they would work with him again (and one actually had active plans in the works to work with him a second time!). He is genuine, transparent, and a responsive communicator. He discussed and double checked various things with us, eg when our Huron Blue siding arrived, he had us come check it out to ensure it was exactly what we envisioned before installation took place. He also problem solved when the original planned location of our front hall closet wasn’t going to work; he consistently brought us into the conversation which definitely contributed to the trust we were able to have in him.While working on the house, Brandon and his team were incredibly efficient and took great care in their work; the work site was always left very clean and well-organized, and they took many measures to protect our existing space while they expanded our home. Our neighbours all made sure to rave to us about them and any sub-trades who came in to do work as well, regarding their demeanours and professionalism.By improving the functionality of our house and making the process so, so easy, they have changed our lives and we will always feel grateful for that and the experience of working with them. Brandon, Joel and Jordan built our deck in our backyard and they truly did an amazing job. Attention to detail was at its fullest. They are not only fantastic people but very professional and always communicate on any issues or questions, listen to your needs and wants and always on time. If you are looking for the best you have found it with these guys, we will absolutely work with them again on any projects and highly recommend them!
