Crossed from USA into Canada. Instant crossing, friendly official. Easy peasy. Open until 8 p.m. US entry closes earlier. Check before you try the US entry.

If it is a toss up between this and the other crossing from Montreal go to the other one. Needlessly slow and painful

Arrived with two cars ahead of us. We are US citizens, all valid docs. It took over 90 minutes. We called the office while we waited in line to confirm the crossing was open since we were stuck in a walled portion of the road with cars behind us. The agent said they were open and “it would take a while,” and provided no additional detail when asked. I’d advise going somewhere with more than one lane and better staffing. This one seems very poorly managed. Of course, going into Canada here was a breeze since it didn’t involve USCBP.

CLOSED. After waiting for nearly 30min. in a long line, was informed by Canadian border patrol that this location is closed and that we had no business being there.

I would recommend not using this crossing, there is only one lane and we were stuck in traffic for two hours before we were able to get across the border. The agents were fine and they did not take long to process us and get us on our way.

US entry closes at 5 pm

Very rude staff and incredibly long wait (50 m). Definitely the worst one I've been to. Avoid it (entering U.S., Canada side looked fine)if you can.

Google maps should know the border is closed at 4pm! Ridiculous

I know some dont get a good experience but the agent I got was very nice and friendly.

Had a painful experience here. There’s only 1 lane, and on average it was taking 2-4 minutes per car. We waited 1 hour in total to reach the border, and a further 30 minutes in the office.The person who checked our passport was fine, but since we hadn’t completed our information via the mobile app (something not mentioned online when we researched), we had to go into the office and the woman we dealt with was very unpleasant. Given it was an obviously busy day and maybe it was her attempt at humour, but she proceeded to badmouth Canadians, insult Vermont, and make fun of us. She was also very patronising with others at the border, and spent a lot of time complaining to us. Such a bad start to our trip in Vermont.We used the Canadian side on the way back and it couldn’t have been more different. So much more organised, super friendly and helpful.
