Line-X of Ottawa East

Just wanted to take a moment and thank the staff at Line-x East for their above and beyond service with having my Backrack coated.. Fair price and prompt service! They even provided 5star touchup service just hours after I picked it up (because of an oops on my part). Keep up the great work and I'm sure I'll be back sor something else to be coated!

On my 2017 F-150 XLT, I've got the Line X box liner, Truck Gear folding hard tonneau cover and the Husky all weather floor mats. They also did the permanent Rust Check rust proofing. Great job!! Thanks to Lorne and Kevin!!

I called linex prior to purchasing my new truck to get a quote on having the bed sprayed. I was quoted a price that turned out to be $100 less than the dealership was gonna charge me to get it done so when I purchased my truck I called back to book the appointment. Brandon answered my call and booked me in. He even agreed to meet me at the store a little early so I could make it to work on time after drop off. He was quite pleasant to deal with even congratulating me on my new purchase. When I arrived as promised Brandon was there early to get me started. Just over 3 hours later I get a call to pick it up and got it picked up on my lunch break. Whole process was easy and pleasant. My only complaint is I wish they had removed the rubber hole fillers in my truck bed prior to spraying rather than spraying over them so now I can't take them out. But on the plus side they did agree to spray an extra area that is not normally done at no extra cost.

I am on my second box liner from Line X of Ottawa and as far as customer service and product quality goes it was over exceeded during both visits. Mr. Edmonds and his staff where very product knowledgeable and made me feel very at ease. Don't ever get your truck sprayed here. The owner Lorain is never around and will never do anything to help you out. But he will take cash payments no receipts no problem there. His AKA manager thinks he's gods gift and is the most ignorant person you ever met. they wil not perfrom any warranty work what so ever. They will use every excuse in the book why the job came out the way it did. Do yourself a favor drive over to Gatineau and get your line-x done there much nicer staff and will honor warranty with a smile.

Stay away at all cost. Sprayed my truck rockers and since they didn't clean anything up it didn't stick. I could peel it up like a banana. Then going to Lorne the owner he got hot headed and called my truck a f*** truck. All this while I didn't even raise my voice. Got lucky to get my money back so I could take my truck somewhere else but quite frankly it doesn't cover the cost of my time and frustration. I never received an apology. Stay away!Just to reply to the company's reply the owner is actually Lorne. He did see the truck where his product could peel like a banana and had a chance to make it right which is when he got hot headed and preferred getting angry and swearing at the vehicle. I was going to leave them another chance but on a 40,000$ used but new to me truck I decided to go elsewhere as their character didn't inspire confidence. Buyer beware.

The crew at Line X Ottawa are the best place in Ottawa for all of your trailering needs, nobody could find what I was looking for to set up my new Palisade with a 7 way plug and play system . I called and spoke with Lorne and he found my parts in less than a hour and had them waiting for me in 48 hrs. I will not shop anywhere else for vehicle accesories after the great service from Lorne and the staff at Line X.

Love dealing with KAREN and the gang at Line-X. The work is awesome, and the service is too. Pricing is competitive

I would love to give a Zero star review but it wont let me. Hands down the worst company i have had the opportunity to spend my hard earned money at. They don't care one bit about quality control. Erica at the front desk just stares at you when you ask her a question. They installed a set of ladder racks i didn't order and installed an extra toolbox i never ordered. My back box door is as solid as a wet wounded cheesy. Anyone can just steal my stuff. I sent it back to have the racks changed and back latch fixed. The latch is the same as it was before and the ladder rack won't hold my ladders, so thats 3 days that truck is off the road because of the lack of quality and attention to details. Spend your money somewhere else.

UPDATE. I received a call from Leer representatives to say the Leer factory was at fault for the delay in delivery of my truck cap and Line-X Ottawa was unaware of the supply problems. I'm satisfied that Line-X was not at fault and that they took the time to contact me and apologise for the problem. I'll give Line-X 4 stars for caring enough to follow up on this matter. It shows they care about customer service.I ordered a Leer truck cap from Line-X on 2 Aug 2018 and was told it would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. I went back to the Line-X office on 22 Aug and they told me the cap wasn’t ready yet; they called the Leer factory in Pennsylvania and was told the cap was still being built. On 29 Aug I went back to Line-X and they told me the Leer factory didn’t get their supply of doors from their supplier so the cap wasn’t finished. Finally on 13 Sep Line-X told me the cap arrived. How a company as big as Leer runs out of doors is a mystery to me, and why Line-X didn’t know about the delay is just bad management. If you order a cap don’t expect it to arrive on time.
