The atmosphere and service were great. I had read reviews that the portion sizes were big, and they were right! My girlfriend and I shared one starter, one main, and one dessert and we were full.The food was very good and flavourful. We had the plantain and pork belly starter and we really liked the combination of flavours. For our main, we had the Lomo Saltado with Yuca fries. The beef, the fries, and the sauce were excellent. The rice was a little undercooked, but it still tasted good with the sauce. For dessert, we had the churros with Dulce de Leche. These were the best churros we have had to date.Overall, we had a great experience.

Terrific experience! We stumbled upon this gem on Locke St as we were looking for something open a bit late, and I’m so glad we ended up here. The empanadas are truly something special to start off with. Such an interesting combination of ground beef, olives, and raisins; an elevated take on a South American staple! Covered it in the sauce. Sudado was good! Mild flavours, but tasty nonetheless. Soup was amazing! Fully loaded of seafood and rice, the meal put me to sleep! What really stood out was the ambiance, such a great atmosphere. It was comfortable, yet undeniably chic. Overall awesome experience, add it to the formula for a perfect date night!

Every item we tried was delicious and fresh. We got Empanadas, anticucho, yuca fries and ceviche for food. The dips on the side were flavourful. We got two drinks which were also really good, chicha and another mocktail with orange, mango, passionfruit.Service was efficient and pleasant.

Since first trying it last year, has quickly become one of my most favorite restaurants in the city. Fantastic food, inventive Peruvian & Italian fusion, fair prices, great, engaging service, perfect atmosphere.

One of the hidden gems on lock street. Hamilton, Ontario. Amazing selection of dishes from Peru. Very nice light spices with fantastic. I wouldn’t go with local cocktails as they were heavy for me but food was very light and satisfying

Well thought out menu with classic Peruvian fares. The ambiance was quite nice indoors, though admittedly, there were a few flies during the summer months while we ate which brought down the experience a bit.In regards to the food, we were recommended the plantains, empanada, and beef appetizers, which all were great; our table's favourite was the plantains as they were cooked quite well and served with a delicious mayo dip. For the mains, we had the ceviche and the lomo saltado. I really liked the dried corn with the ceviche as it delivered a grainy base to go along with the sourness of the ceviche.Overall, great experience, pricing was up there, but you won't want to miss this gem of a restaurant here on Locke Street.

We wanted Peruviano to be great, unfortunately it fell short of the reviews and social media hype. The ambiance is nice and restaurant looks very clean. We started off strong with the maracuya sour, chilcano; and anticuchos. However, our main dishes took 1-1 & 1/2 hours to come out and or entire table was not served at the same time. This is where it gets rough. As I cut into the first piece of meat in my lomo saltado, it was RAW. Out of the 6-7 pieces of lomo, only 1 was cooked. Others at our table had the same issue with their lomo as well. When I complained, the manager was making excuses for the meat being undercooked. Additionally, if you know authentic Peruvian cuisine, the fries need to be hand cut, not McCain fries from a bag. To the point of food being undercooked, the sweet potato from the ceviche and mushrooms in another dish were also not cooked well. They weren’t even that busy, 4-5 tables only at the time we were dining. We were greatly disappointed in the quality and execution of the dishes, and slow and poor service. We will not be back.

A local Locke Street gem that exceeded expectations. It’s my new fav Locke St spot. From the amazing backyard patio to the drinks and delicious food and portions, this place was 5 stars. I went with a girlfriend and we shared the Chicharron Plantain which was so fresh and presented beautifully. For mains, I had the Lomo Saltado and she had the Aji de Gallina. I’ll admit the Lomo was the star for taste and mix of veg while hers was comfort food through and through. Big portions and next time I’ll order a bunch of things to share. Bonus; the drinks, especially the pisco drinks, were amazing. The churros ended the meal on a high note! I’ll be back a lot. Such an amazing experience and meal.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine's dinner here! The whole staff did an amazing job. The evening took me back to the times I spent in Lima. The food was incredible, the drinks were refreshing. We will definitely be returning guests to this lovely restaurant.

What a fantastic place!! The vibe and patio are so cozy. Ernesto was my super server who made excellent drinks and explained food items. The food was so delicious.
