The Copper Room
Wish I could give this place 0 stars. $79 per person for the dinkiest little buffet I have ever seen - sooooo not worth the money AT ALL, extremely expensive for a very mediocre meal at best. I felt like we were robbed for that disgusting price. Unimpressed with the entrance hostess as well - very judgemental and we felt extremely awkward and unwelcome. The waiting staff were lovely, they were about the only good thing other than the room itself which was beautiful. The live music was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk- the songs played were great if you’re very old. Disappointed is an understatement. I will never be coming back to this restaurant nor will I be recommending it to anyone - stay away.

Waitresses working the evening shift in the Copper Room embarrassed my husband who is not only a veteran with mobility problems and PTSD but also has Bell’s palsy. He has many muscles that no longer function in his face. They jumped to the conclusion that he was intoxicated. He over heard them talking about him. No customer should feel that way in public. They need to learn a little more about being discrete

Great dining experience and live band! Did you know this band is the last live band in Canada to play 5 days a week? If you are looking to dress up and have a good time come by and dine at Copper room. My wife and I come and stay at the hotel every year for our wedding anniversary. Ps: besides the live band being amazing the waiter Martin is very professional and has a great sense of humor.

Very good food. Expensive but expected. We had the ahi tuna appetizer which had three large portions of raw tuna on a bed of watermelon radish. I had the prime rib and my husband had the chef's menu with the beef as well. Both plates were identical when brought out except my prime rib was larger. They were served with two piles of mashed potatoes, a single carrot, some sauteed spinach, and a small tomato. In all honesty getting the chef's menu would be better bang for your buck if you were going to get beef anyway. The long island iced tea was delicious. I ordered the creme brulee for dessert and it was good. My husband had a dessert included in his chef's menu but I didn't care for it (was a raspberry mousse). The band started at 7 pm, the Jones' band, and they were wonderful. We wanted to stay longer but it was as cold as ice inside and we were already wearing long sleeves! The only downside was the waiter was a tad too friendly, cracking jokes every time he came by the table and had to make a funny" comment about our food each time he removed a plate or checked on us. It got old. We paid $150 for our food and had a live band... I wasn't at a comedy club. I can appreciate a joke to two at the beginning but then tone it down after. However

Breakfast buffet was cold, disgusting, unremarkable. Absolute highway robbery for $25 pp. Seriously miss the place the.whole resort has gone downhill

The ambience is obviously upscale and elegant, however the portions are small, considering the price. The food was relatively tasty: I can certainly recommend the chicken and scalloped potatoes. The service was adequate, considering the size of the function, but it certainly wasn't cheerful.

Negative ten!!I made reservations 2 months ahead of my 60th birthday and planned my whole trip around it. Received a call one week before travelling (666 km) to say they just booked a large party reservation so I was told I had to change my reservation!! Was told manager would call me but she didn’t. I left messages but still no response! No apologies, nothing. We went to Milos Greek restaurant instead and would definitely recommend them.The Copper Room management lack manners, morals and common decency!!

Been coming here at least once a year forever, this was our first time back since the Copper Room reopened and it was not at all as we remember. Waitress was awful, missed one of our courses, disappeared for awhile, didn't offer more drinks (although the table beside us got several refills) the food was not great, weird sides for my husband's short ribs which were stringy and dry, my chicken was just okay. Perhaps we just went on an off night as all our previous trips there have been amazing.And FYI do not reserve using their online reservation form as they do not use it anymore but have not disabled it.
