I'm not one to write a review, but I feel compelled to write this one. I have met Joe occasionally and find him a well-mannered, respectful and friendly person. So my wife inherited a piano that has been sitting in our living room for the past 5 years, truthfully collecting dust. She always wanted to learn to play but never found the right avenue to cultivate her passion. Here is where things get interesting. She found Simply Piano and loves how it works for her, and she is starting to learn. Since Simply Piano uses your microphone on your phone to hear what you are, playing, she found the piano was so out of tune she could not complete some of the lessons. We contacted Joe through his website and easily booked an appointment. Joe was on time and tuned the piano to perfection. He knew his job and told me some interesting facts about our piano. In his final steps in tuning, Joe played many memorable songs. He truly knows his way around the ivory keys. I have to give Joe 5+ stars. This was a wonderful experience and money well spent.

If you need a piano tuned or anything piano related, Twisted Stringz is who you need in order to get everything back in tune. There were so many things wrong with our piano. First off, it had not been tuned since we bought it in 2008. Second, the right pedal was squeaking (DO NOT USE WD-40). In addition, the centre pedal wasn't even connected (we thought it was broken, but Joseph fixed it). ***Lastly, my daughter has an online piano exam tomorrow. ***I called Joseph on Saturday and he was able to juggle his schedule around to help my daughter out (FOR WHICH SHE IS SO HAPPY!!)Thanks for fixing everything and educating the entire family about our piano. I will definitely be booking an appointment in 6-8 months for the regular tuning. Joseph was very punctual and tidy. He shared lots of information about the work he was doing, and provided great info about how to care for our piano going forward. Highly recommend.
