Super disappointing delivery meal! I'm a Hungarian who couldn't WAIT to have a spot to bring my family for some traditional eats when they are visiting in town. Had to test it out myself first to be sure it tastes authentic, and I am definitely glad I did before inviting anyone else here with me!For $21 I received a plain, slimy chicken leg with approx 1/2 cup of dumplings which were overcooked and yet somehow dry. There was NO SAUCE, no vegetables, and the meal" was not enough to feed a child. It didn't come close to matching the picture posted on their website's menu

Service was friendly, welcoming, and prompt. They very much give the vibe of a new business trying to generate happy customers. Charming. It's also wrapped around a convenience store which it shares a door with, so that's... convenient. The pizza was good. I prefer it over the major food chains. It's at a very good price too ($10 three topping medium). I also like how even premium toppings, like all the cheeses, still only count as one topping. The moussaka dinner has so many sides, and in such large quantity that one dinner is almost enough to feed two adults. The food quality of this dish it also good. The samosas and their sauce were very good. However, I had the vegetarian moussaka and felt the quantity of spinach and mushroom too high. The top 'crust' was creamy and fluffy. It was good. Both the pizza and moussaka are of a higher quality/quantity than I feel I paid for them. Fantastic!Edit:Though I originally rated this a 4/5 as there is minor room for improvement, I have found myself returning time and again, becoming a regular customer none-the-less. If that's not a 5/5, I don't know what is.

I'm all about supporting local, however, not this bistro. Ordered the soup, had the dog in the car on a very cold day. Asked how long it would take to get soup. She said it was ready. I proceeded to wait 15 minutes for soup that was being heated in a microwave oven! Very small amount of Chicken noodle soup for $5.99. Also wanted to purchase a Baklava on the way out. Small piece was $7.99!! I passed. The best Baklava in town is Olive Tree for $3.99. I'm not going back here. Little food, big prices.

Have now ordered here several times. Food is incredible and huge! My daughters order the pesto pasta and said it's the best pasta they have ever had. Shawarma pizza is our new favourite pizza and you can't go wrong with any of the meals.

Visited Blue Dahlia a few days ago. The food was very authentic and the taste was excellent. Ordered a Chicken Paprikas, Bean Stew & Breaded Mushrooms. Hungarian food is hard to come by in this area and I would highly recommend Blue Dahlia to anyone looking for authentic homemade Hungarian food.

We'd never heard of this place before but we were hungry and thought we'd give it a shot. It was incredible. The food is fresh and flavorful. I had the Greek omelette and it was absolutely perfect. My husband also ordered breakfast but they come with these insanely delicious potatoes. If you're thinking of trying something new I absolutely recommend this place.

I really wanted to like this place, I really did. Everything on the menu looked so good and the owner was very friendly but wow was the food terrible, like really bad. I honestly don't think I've ever had worse restaurant food before.I ordered the pasta with cottage cheese and bacon but I assumed it would have a sauce and other things like spices, or something. No, literally just plain noodles and a tiny amount of cottage cheese that had obviously been rinsed because there was no taste at all (unless water logged is a taste) and barely any little pieces of bacon, that was it. By the time I got it home the noodles were all clumped together as one big mound. I had to pry it apart and add some olive oil, garlic powder, and salt just to make it somewhat edible but I threw most of it in the garbage. It was a meal I'd expect a child to make when they're first learning how to cook. So that was a huge disappointment. We also ordered the lamb souvlaki meal and it was the worst souvlaki we've ever had. The lamb was so overcooked and dried out, there was only one piece of potato (the menu says potatoes), the rice was so salty we couldn't eat it, the vegetables in the salad looked like they were quite old, the tzatziki sauce was watery, and the pita bread was so hard we could have frisbeed it as a weapon. So most of it joined the pasta in the garbage. I don't know how they could charge someone for this meal at all, especially not $17.99!!What an absolute waste of $40. We felt so ripped off and still hungry; we will never return to this place again. Very, very disappointing. I wish I had taken some photos for this review but didn't even know that was an option until now.

I just discovered this place today, and I had to place an order. I can't complain about anything, the food was great! The Hungarian Goulash is especially good value for the cost.Ordered Palacsinta for dessert, very good, reminds me of my childhood ( I recommend the walnut filling ).Will return for sure!

Ok all personal biases aside, the food is ok. Owners please read this! The portion sizes are freaking awesome! Good job on that, we definitely get a really good sized meal. However, the schnitzel on a bun is bland. It’s a huge sandwich with no seasoning, no sauce or any condiments. All that was on it was ONE small tomato slice and that sandwich was massive. I suggest seasoning your food and adding some lettuce, maybe onions and more tomato than one single slice. Please don’t cheap out on food because this has the potential to be amazing. And I know Hungarians can be great cooks so come on, this was pretty disappointing. The fries were pretty good though so good job on that. But yes, please season the food.
