The Burger Place
It's a good nostalgia place for sure had the oldschool feel.The burgers are fresh in the AM but they make an abundance and then they re moisturized on the grill by steaming them under a covering with water (I watched this happen) This is a BIG let down as the taste between a fresh burger and a pre cooked heated burger is much different.I'll will say it was still good but it wasnt what I want when I'm getting a burger, I'd just go to mcdonalds.Unless they switch to fresh made, I wont be back but for the experince I had it was well the guys were nice and the food was good. But they cant compete with a patty cook from raw on the spot.Get the burger with chili ***

The Burger Place came highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. Friendly and efficient staff, but the star of the show are the burgers and fries (and chili). They rank right up there with the best in the city - which is not easy in a town filled with quality burger options! I wouldn't hesitate to go back when next in town.

Stopped in for a late night bite as I was in the area and haven't been in here for years. Happy to say it didn't disappoint. Chilli on the burger was tasty and all round good burger.

I'm a food person. And I've been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel around quite a bit. I've tried lots of burgers and many different places. This place is honestly one of the best burgers you can buy on the planet. The hot dogs are excellent as well the hardest part is deciding whether I want a hot dog or a burger. If you like mean burgers and dogs and you're in Manitoba you need to try this place it is possibly literally the best

First time coming here and definitely will be back. The owner gave us a sampler of chilli fries for free *yum* .We were able to go wait in our vehicle with a buzzer for our food. Food was scrumptious and service was amazinggggg

Good Food! Straight forward no fuss burger joint. Probably the only place where the burgers are BIGGER than they look on the menu. Order modestly. You can always go back for more.

I like the poutine gravy. Not a fan of their bun, too hard not sure if it's stale or it's just made like that. I hope it's soft that way I'll appreciate the burger better. Little messy to eat but it was a good burger. I got a hint of cinnamon with each bite of the burger. Limited parking spot. I like how they have the buzzer whenever you order. It's way easier to get informed that the order was ready. Limited table space outside to eat. It's like a pick up and go style.

The Burger Place has been around for ages. The burgers are pretty good, though somewhat large and greasy. They tend to put chili on a lot of things (optional) so if you’re into having chili on your burgers and fries, this place is right up your alley. This restaurant did a number of interior and exterior renovations about a year or two ago so it looks more updated. They’ve kept a number of retro Coca-Cola, Canada Dry, etc. pictures and memorabilia which adds a nice charm.

**Edit**After calling the location we went too back, they credited us and gave us a new large poutine in return! Amazing staff and was so nice on the phone when speaking with them. Got a fast response on Facebook to get the issue fixed! Now this is what I call a real good poutine!Usually love burger place, but I guess today was an off day. The fries just tasted burnt, not much cheese and barely any gravy. When we go and get the poutine it's usually drowning in gravy which we love alot. Today was a bit disappointed

I went there for my second time in a month and was truly disappointed. The staff reheated some old dirty burger and threw it on a bun that was four times thicker than the burger. The lettuce was terribly wilted/ super Limp and the 2 tomato's were frozen limp. The manager should ask his staff to see if they would eat that if somebody served them that. My fries ended up getting burnt after the server had to stop getting my order ready because he had to call someone on his cell. No...it wasn't the business phone. He came back to dump the burnt batch and threw another one in and because he was a hurry, took them out early...nice greasy limp fries. The chocolate shake matched the rest of the meal...weak and poorly made. I used to really like this place.So I I'm not sure that when I paid I selected no tip..... Could this be why I had such a disappointing meal? Your tip comes based on your last visit and the service you get.Not sure if I will ever will go back....truly sad
