Dollarama

I have written dozens of reviews and this is the first time I leave a 1-star review. The young asian cashier girl with glasses was purely rude. I was with my toddler and baby, and the cashier just seemed completely angry and annoyed by my toddler cause she kept talking to her. So I smiled and joked with the cashier girl to make it less tense. The cashier girl just completely cut me off and not let me finish my sentence, didn’t look at me, and called the next customer (when the store was very quiet and there was NO LINE at all!). I am a frequent dollarama shopper and have been to many different stores, I have never come across a rude staff, so I am sure the girl was just having a bad day (perhaps it was end of the day for her at around 5 pm on a Sunday). Please train your staff to have basic decency, customer service and patience. This kind of attitude is uncalled for, especially to a toddler. I am never coming back to this location. I am just going to drive few more mins to go to Dollar tree down the street which has great customer service.

This is Dollarama. You know what to expect here. The main difference with the is location is that the aisles are very long. I was looking for some stocking stuffers and they did not disappoint.The best thing was that they have five cashiers on staff today. The lines were long, but they moved quickly.

Love this place. You find some decent options here.

With the pandemic today, it was nice to see a staff member at the door disinfecting the shopping carts for customers, but I was not impressed with the young girl at the cash who was wearing ripped and dirty gloves that clearly look like they’ve been used for a while, she was handing change coins to another customer then wanted to touch my stuff and put them in the bag. I asked her to change her gloves, she laughed and said I don’t think I have another one!! So I asked her not to touch my stuff and had to scan all items by myself!!

This was a bigger store with more products. Good customer service experience.

I would like to thanks this girl name Rohnia, she was very kind enough to take me to the right aisle for the item that I was looking for. She went above and beyond while serving me at the cash out register. She seems very polite and respectful towards everyone, she had a very nice smile which made my entire day. Thanks for your service Rohnia, I hope I spelled her name right ☺️. Definitely 5 stars ⭐️ deserved.

Always a good spot to find cheap seasonal items. Great for DIY and gardening supplies. You can find some nice decor items sometimes and they usually have ample stock of cleaner & sanitation items.

Staff at this location is especially friendly. I had question about their products on multiple occasions. It was always answered with care, they even took apart one of the items to help me figure things out.

I like this location much better than both Yonge street locations. Seems better managed and staff have better customer service skills. It's also well stocked. Its great that its close to Walmart, I come here first to see if they have what I need and whatever they don't have I can get at Walmart when I do my shopping there.
