Meadowvale Animal Hospital

Our second urgent visit to Meadowvale Animal Hospital. With our Charlie cat. I love these guys. We always purchase our rx urinary food from them as well. Everyone in the hospital is lovely and caring. These folks love animals. Dr. Aman is pretty awesome. She listens to the issue. Does what I believe are the correct diagnostic tests. And only recommends the treatment for the verified cause of the issue. I trust her completely.

We have 3 cats and they have been amazing with them. They also send reminders for vaccines and follow up after the appointments. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Aman is the best vet that I have experienced with so far from other vets. She truly cares for animals. My cats and dog love her. She always explains step by step what she recommends, and I if you choose to go forward with or not.

Bought meds for our cat she was 18 years old the two day later cat passed away. I went to return the med that were unopened and sealed refused to take them back. I went to another vet to give the med to them as a donation for some one that could not afford them as they where $100 they send sorry we can’t take med that are expired. So you mean the vet sold me expired med ???? They said yes and it illegal to sell expired medication. Went back to return med and unhappily the vet did. But still did not apologize I should call the spca

My two pugs have been under the care of Dr Amand for the last 12 years. She is on top of things with them and doesn’t make any unnecessary suggestions and prescriptions. She not pushy in any way and my pups love her and her staff and clinic. They are all very patient and animal loving. I had to put one of my pugs to rest thislast April 2021…. The toughest time in mine and my family’s life! Dr Amand was so patient and heartfelt caring throughout the entire process not rushing us with decisions and the process of letting go that sad and overwhelming day.She follows up on the care of my pugs on her off days and even comes in the clinic on her off days when we need her.We just brought home a new pup, Labrador Retriever and I can’t wait for her to meet Dr Amand and her team. Thank you for taking good care of our fur babies !

I had to take my dog in for an emergency appointment and this vet fit me in right away when my own vet was not able too. Dr. went out of her way to get the results back quickly and called me late that night with the results . I very much appreciated that she fit my sick dog in and went above and beyond to relay the results making a stressful time more bearable.Thank you!

Dr.Aman has been our vet for 5 dogs and over 14 years .She has been dedicated, knowledgeable and very compassionate.Thank You so very much !!

I visited when my cat got sick. I was in a panic because he's never been sick in the past 9 years. Thankfully, they were able to fit him into the schedule and treat him. I had him stay overnight on IV fluid and abx.The vet (sorry, I forgot her name!) was very informative. She explained his status and course of treatment. She made it very easy to understand and gave me an overview of the prices before proceeding. She was very good with follow-up and calling me for any updates.Veterinary assistants were also very patient and reassuring.I think their hours of operation is definitely one of the strengths.I was thankful that they opened so late.He's fully recovered in a day and is a happy cat.Thank you all!

I had the worst experience ever!The vet was “concerned” about COVID. No one from her staff was wearing a mask! They didn’t let me or my husband come in. While we fully respect and support anyone’s COVID precautions, in a situation like this, we should have been communicated to in advance so that we weren’t suddenly listening to our dog whine from getting his vaccines in another room. The COVID protocols in place were bizarre and more aggressive than even a health facility, yet didn’t include masks, so very inconsistent with science. I’m uncomfortable with a my pets’ vet not understanding science.The consultation with the vet was in a public waiting area, and felt very rushed. The vet couldn’t offer any advice about diet, and didn’t proactively tell us what was safe in terms of taking the puppy outside until we asked. The compassionate care for new puppy parents was totally absent.We had agreed to a topical flea and tick treatment. When the puppy was in the other room this was changed to an oral treatment without our consent.We had agreed to having the puppy microchipped. The vet simply forgot to do this. I wonder if anything else was forgotten.We were looking for a new vet as we moved, and with our cats before have been to vets many times, even during COVID. Never before have we felt so uncomfortable, uninformed, and uncared for. I would never trust a pet to the care of this veterinarian office again.

I moved further away from Meadowvale and starting going to another vet. When said vet said they didn't have anyone to stitch up my dogs leg after many other blunders, Dr. Aman fit me in right away. My dogs leg was pretty bad and she reassured me the whole time it would be okay. And it was! The staff has never been anything but friendly and informative. It's a bit out of my way now that I have moved but I will continue to bring all my pets to Meadowvale Animal Hospital. Keep up the good work!!!!!
