Income Assistance Office

Worst place ever to go, but unfortunately no other option! Immature irresponsible people working there, lots of mistakes in the pay slips. I had to leave my job and go so many times to correct the mistakes they usually do to release the paycheque of my grandpa!

Worst place like people need money to live don’t be here asking for sooo much information and if you recvie death pension plan and welfare they’ll make u wait up to 5-6months until u can get money again so stupid slowest wokrers wasting time

Terrible services best to call instead and had an ussue with the machines not working and having to wait outside since 1 untill 3 and thet have yet to fix the issue and after waiting two hours they finally ask if people Still wanna wait in line with only an hour left

I feel like this place should be more nicer to people with a disability and here is why, security guard is rude to people with disabilities who are hearing impaired had security tell me to pay attention and in a rude tone while I was waiting for the number on the screen, the numbers were coming up slowly and the security guy got really rude, like really treat someone who is in a vulnerable position really terrible to make yourself feel good, as soon as I was walking a security was following me to where I had to go because i was suspicious, my partner was helping me out and when he needed to explain why the lady would not let him three times and when i told her he was she wanted to kick out my partner, security guard told him to sit down and shut his mouth. I was felt like i wasn't safe getting paperwork done and felt like i wasn't treated right. to be honest i went to other offices for my paper work and the service I received was really good and i didn't feel mistreated.

I arrived five minutes before they close for lunch, but they still denied me entry. It states this location closes at 12:00 for lunch on the door, not 11:55. I have to wait an hour when all I needed to do was pick something up, which I made quite clear

This office and all income assistance offices are there to help right? But they're not helpful understanding or patient. They are judgemental and act as though you're taking money out of their pocket. I put 2 stars cuz on rare occasions I will get someone helpful with a heart. RARE THOUGH! prepare to be there awhile anywhere around cheque release dates. But otherwise you'll be in and out within 1.5hrs. And if you can avoid bringing ur children it would be best for ur kids not to see the things that happen there. Or bring something to distract them from others.

Arrived for cheque pick up and had to bring my kids, I will not make that mistake again. I left before being able to get the cheque to avoid so much drug use around my kids....I could go on but ill leave it there....

The ministry of clowns more like. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Incredibly unhelpful and condescending staff who just want to push you along as quickly as possible so you're out of their face. In my case the worker just up and left and got security to kick me out after solving none of my problems. Ridiculous and awful experience.

It's the worst place to go in , they keep talking to each other inside not really trying to get people's needs done quickly. I have been here many and many times with my dad , grandmother, in winter rain and snow is another story when people are waiting outside. This must be the most comfortable office for this sick people and people in need .
