Never did find out if the flowers were any good sat in a ten car lineup to get into an 8 car parking lot no movement at all in an hour Gave up and left wasn't worth the drive

One of the best selections of garden plants in the area. Prices are better than most places, and selection and quality is great.

Excellent place for quality perrenials at reasonable prices! A superior garden centre.------------------------------------------------------------------------I purchased a clematis and some spiderwort here just before the long Thankgiving Weekend. I am 60, and live in Ottawa. Every bit of my land parcel is some plant or tree ... (let's be polite about it and say my garden is established). Imagine my surprise when I returned home after the weekend to discover the biggest and healthiest (best) root system I have ever seen in my life on that clematis. The root systems were equally superior of the four spiderworts.Really impressive. All the perennials were cut back in preparation for overwintering in their pots. I just kick myself for not grabbing a couple of really healthy looking blue oat grasses I spotted while I was there (you know how they can be quasi-tempermental sometimes - but I will bet these ones would have been really strong too). Oh well ... next year.Odd too ... I travel about on road trips throughout the non-winter seasons, and have an uncontrollable penchant for stopping at garden centres I pass along the way (often buying plants I have no room for) .... This year, my accomplice wanted a red clematis and I wanted a dwarf spiderwort. I had the toughest time finding a red clematis this season. I couldn't believe it. Places were either sold out or said they didn't receive any reds for this season. Another unbelievably tough one to find was spiderwort. I guess it's just not as popular as I imagine is should be. So just imagine how delighted I was to snap up the Neobe (gorgeous real" red big-flowered clematis)

Nice location off the highway.Beautiful selection of annuals, perennials and vegetable/fruit plants.Prices are not bad.And good selection on planters.

I will always love John's. I had a placement there years ago. The people were so friendly and helpful. I made friends with the cow which I called NumNum, we can all guess why. I had an amazing time and I will always be sure to make a visit.

They have Great product, are excellent growers and customer serice is amazing. I Highly recommend.

They always have a great variety, and a few different species of plants. Very well displayed.

Great selection! All the annuals, perennials, veggies, herbs, seeds, and trees (huge selection) that you needs! I like fruit trees and always find myself planting more every year and I was impressed with the selection of type and species that they have. Multiple types of apples, cherries, plums, pears, etc.It is nice that they provide carts for your picks, and they have seats for kids, but the green houses are about 1cm too narrow in many spots to make it through the whole way.The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about their plants and offer great suggestions for your projects at home. We will be back again next year!
