Called to get a map of Western Canada and David went above expected to get the map of the area requested, laminated, and mounted on foam board all within a few days. To top it off, offered to meet me for delivery since it was 8 hours from where we were located. Definitely would recommend!

The owner fixed me up with a nice laminated map I needed for a kayak trip. He put a lot of time and effort in to make sure it had everything i needed.

Mapworld has just released their latest landowner mapbook of southwestern Alberta. They have made a number of improvements to the map series, and it now contains a larger area of the province for the same price. The next edition of the southeastern Alberta mapbook is due to come out next week.

Our company have been using MapWorld as retailers for our GPS and road chips for years and THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our staff had waited outside of MapWorld at their opening hours and David (owner) insisted that our staff was wrong and it was not David's fault because the store opens at 9:30am, and not 8:30am (even though it's written on their store window and online that they open at 8:30am). I don't consider trading in used, more expensive units for face value for a new, cheaper GPS with no discount as him doing me a favour"

This place is fantastic. They sell travel maps, hiking maps, oil and gas maps, everything! There's also a good selection of travel guides, beautiful globes, and accessories like waterproof journals. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

Dave was super helpful and fixed me up with my desired topo map immediately. Great selection and very helpful customer service—a map lover’s dream!

Bought a globe for my mother. The man who helped me was super helpful and showed me things I wouldn't have considered. My mother was very happy with the globe.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I went in the store and try to find a globe for my daughter. The man at the counter was nice and told me the price of the globe that I chose is $85 in the system, and there are no price tags displaying on most products. Later, when I want to buy it, the Guy, David, said very rudely that the system is wrong, and US dollar goes up, and the price now is $95, and the price in system has to be adjusted, etc.. Oh my, this is first time when I meet this in Canada, and I can say nothing about this. David, SHAME!

I went in to pick up a basic paper map. The girl at the counter was nice but she informed me that I needed to talk to the boss. He was busy so I had to wait. Not that big of a deal. 15 minutes later he came up obviously annoyed and asked what I was looking for. I explained and he pulled out a map plunked it on the counter and still obviously angry that I was disturbing his routine said, You need to hold that" and promptly walked away. I looked at the map but I had a few questions. Well he was now busy on the phone berating another what I guess was a customer about the file format he was using and the customers failure to make himself understood. "You have to speak clearly or I can't do anything for you!". After he got off the phone he decided that behind the desk needed to be cleaned and that his employee was not smart enough to "Properly" sweep there! The girl pointed out that I was still waiting and coming back to me with an attitude that I had obviously just killed his puppy with a spoon
