Ladf Cheese

We drove over an hour to come here and experience all the wonderful cheese that friends and family raved about only to be denied entry. Their reason for denying entry was due to us being a group of 2 with a newborn. They mentioned they had a limit of 8 customers in the store at a time, so we said we will happily wait until other customers leave. After there was only 3 people left, we walked in only to be told 1 shopper can enter per household even after there was only 3 customers in the store. AND a group of 3 shoppers from the same household walked in just before us all together and no one mentioned anything to them. We even spoke to the manager and he kept trying to defend his actions and giving us general scenarios that had nothing to do with us being there at the moment. Do not waste your time coming here especially if you are bringing friends or family with you. We ended up going to Cioffi's instead on east Hastings and WOW what a difference and much better selection. They greeted us in Italian and treated us like family. Spend your money where people appreciate your business.

What a fabulous place to find all kinds of cheeses! We went there after watching a documentary set in and around the Vancouver area called Cheese: A Love Story" (the British Colombia segment). The staff were delighted to show us their goods - and not just cheese alone. Will go back for sure!"
