Holy Smoke Central Texas Barbecue
It was a fantastic experience. I never had the opportunity nor the chance to eat and experience Texas bbq before so it was my first time , and gotta tell you the food was exquisite and delicious me and my 4 friends bought 2 packs and the meat was tender and soft but lacked heat , a little because we went there at 4pm so yeah.all in all everything fantastic and delicious would recommend it to anyone, but don’t go there at hours that’s not rush hour if your looking for a fresh out of a fire food

Shared a platter for 1 to try a bit of everything and a full rack of back ribs. Comes with 2 sides, sliced bread and 3 sauces.If you like brisket, there isn't enough at 1/4lb. It was juicy and tasty. I'm not a turkey fan because it's usually dry, but their turkey was pretty good. The sausage was decent and I have mixed feelings about their ribs as some pieces were dry. That's where the sauces came in handy. Their sauces are pretty good.I love coleslaw and I wish theirs was creamier.Overall, it was good but now that I've got my smoker, I'll just make it at home.

We order a platter for 2 combo with moist brisket, sausage , Turkey and two large sides of Mac and cheese and baked beans. My friend and I really enjoyed it , we’ve wanted to try this place for a while . The only thing , I prefer my beans to be steam hot whereas they were served warm here. We would def come back !

Holy Smoke Central Texas Barbecue
Ordered the brisket, full rack of ribs, corn bread, coleslaw, mac and cheese and potato salad. The ribs were amazing. Smokey and tender goodness. Brisket was good. The sides were pretty good. The coleslaw was a standout. It was super crisp and it didn't feel like it was swimming in the dressing all day long.

Really impressed by the bbq here! Have had the pleasure of having bbq in Texas and this is truly comparable! The brisket was so tender and a fan favourite; they gave us the options of lean, moist and fatty-we chose the moist and fatty pieces.

The picture is what you get for $30 before tax and delivery. Four wings and a “half” rack of dry ribs that taste like a burnt wick. The sauces, homestyle bbq and espresso tasted the same, like spicy ketchup. The Mac n cheese, good god. Tasted like boiled macaroni with a slice of processed cheese. Just look at them in the pic, it will bring you the same amount of sadness as I felt when attempting to eat it.The only thing they did right was cook the wings through well enough. Good to hear this place a meat thermometerOverall, terrible meal. Total rip off.

I came here thinking I was coming to one of the best bbq places in the GTA as I saw the rating was 4.7 stars. Little did I know that instead of Texas BBQ, it was what the British kids tasted in the Industrial Revolution. The Baby Back ribs were so charred, it bears a strong resemblance to coal.Their ribs were a bit too charred, the sauce's flavour didn't cover the ribs charred taste. The Pecan Pie tasted like goo.The front door had a sign that said Legit Central Texas BBQ, but I have determined this is a lie.

I tried their brisket sandwich. The brisket had good flavor, super juicy, and they give you a good amount of brisket for the price. They had a $12 sandwich combo promo going on. It included a side and drink. The sides were alright, nothing too noteworthy. But overall the food was good and so was the value.

Tried the platter for one. The portion sizes were decent and with the two sides made for a very filling meal. All the meats were very tender and the sauce only added more to the taste. The jalapeño cheese sausage had a good level of spice to it as well. The sides were also a generous portion which helped add to how filling it was for one.They also offer sandwiches based on their smoked meats as well. Pairing it with one side should be better value than the platter if looking for a decent option.There was a decent amount of seating and service was quick at the counter to have the meal ready.Recommended if in the Thornhill area and looking for an authentic BBQ place given how few and far between BBQ places are in the GTA.
