Moores 24 Towing and Recovery

I borrowed my son's RAM 1500 to use on holiday at a cottage on Manitoulin The truck was fully loaded and a tire went flat. I contacted CAA and quickly got a call from Ron at Moores. Ron was very helpful on the phone. The gentleman who came with the tow truck was very professional and got us back on the road. Very pleased with Moore's service!

Recently had Moore’s assist us when we locked our keys in the car. Some of these newer vehicles (ours is a 2019) can be very tricky to unlock; our driver showed up very promptly, was very professional and did a fantastic job getting the door opened. Would recommend Moore’s a hundred times over!

Our experience was completely amazing. I am a first time mom of a 9 month old. Me and my husband were stranded about 1.5 hrs away. Our truck broke down after hitting a large construction hole. I had no more warm water to feed my tired cranky baby. The tow driver made it to us within 30 mins, got us safely to a hotel, assisted helping with our stuff Into the hotel and made sure we were safe. He then drove my husband home, and even towed our boat. He was kind, friendly, understanding. I can’t thank him enough for his service. Highly recommended.

Ron and Russ were excellent at a time when I needed assistance. Unfortunately, I hit a deer and badly damaged the vehicle. Ron sent Russ ASAP and within 30 minutes, he had the vehicle ready for towing. He drove me home and helped me empty the vehicle. They were kind, compassionate at a time when it was greatly appreciated.

I rarely review things but I simply must say what a treat it was to be towed by Ron. I’m driving from NS to BC and made what was supposed to be a short detour to see the Bruce Penninsula park, then took the ferry to manitoulin island and was promptly used as a suicide vessel for a deer. The front of my car (which I’ve been using to camp in too) was smashed and there was no way I’d be able to continue my trip without mechanical intervention. Ron not only picked me and my car up but also picked up my spirits as we drove to the mechanic shop my insurance company requested. Along the way we chatted easily about a range of topics. I’m not usually an easy person to talk to but conversation just flowed. I was given solid life advice, inspiration and motivational words. He waited with me at the mechanics shop and helped to explain my situation to the mechanic. When we had a plan and I was in a lender vehicle for the afternoon, he said goodbye and gave me his card in case I needed anything else... anything, not just towing. While the situation was less than ideal, I’m happy that we crossed paths. The world needs more caring people like Ron.Oh I should add, he was right on time and very knowledgeable about what he was doing as well. Highly recommend.
