Didn't get to really try their food since we came here after dinner. Oysters were great and their local Jost Tidal Bay wine was phenomenal!Atmosphere was great, place was clean and the staff was friendly.

We had an amazing experience last night at the Mercantile Social with a group of 30 of us from work. The sitting arrangements and atmosphere was perfect. The food was amazing and we were served like royalty by Jess and Eve, they were amazing!! We enjoyed the live entertainment on the patio as it was a beautiful evening. The dinning area is spacious, well decorated creating the perfect ambiance. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience with great food menu, drinks and service. I’m looking forward to return on my next visit to Halifax.

Had a really awesome time with a group of friends. TMS has revamped their menu substantially and it shows. Really impressed with the quality of the food vs a year ago and the service was excellent!

Went here for Burger Week 2023 for the Drive Thru burger and some onion rings. The restaurant/lounge is gorgeous. Ambiance is amazing. Host/Wait staff were impeccable upon stepping foot inside. Food was decent. Will definitely return for drinks some evening.

Super sweet staff. They were very accommodating, wonderful hosts, and my wife and I had a lovely time. We will definitely come here again for the beignet and Bao Lobster when we come back to Halifax!

Atmosphere and architect was pleasant. The menu gave you delicious options for dinner. The pricing was in par for restaurants of this caliber. The service started off excellent, but sadly it did not hold up throughout the meal. the appetizers came quickly and were delicious. The drinks options were amazing and plentiful. Ordering our mains took longer than expected. It did appear our waiter was extremely busy with other tables. Which affected his ability to serve others adequately. Our main meal was extremely delicious and tasteful. Our waiter did not come back once during our meal, did not ask if we needed anything. We did order desert, it was delicious. For the price point and reputation of Mercantile, we did expect better service. This is the reason for three stars. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, sadly he did seem overly busy to give the proper service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good menu.

A truly great dining experience. Our server was amazing, she knew the menu inside outside which was very helpful to decide what to order from the impressive menu. The mafalde a la funghi was exceptional!

The service is amazing from start to finish. One of the new managers checked in on us to chat and ensure we were doing well. My partner and I enjoyed every dish we tried and are planning to come back again for more great eats. The cocktails & desserts were wonderful as well. Beautiful spot!!

I got the pesto gnocchi and cunning familiar cocktail, as well as the beignets for dessert. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size of the gnocchi. The cocktail was delicious. The beignets are made to order and were worth the ~20 minute wait. Definitely pricey but overall a great dining experience.
