Great company is all I can say. Needed a good locksmith for my new Toronto home. I found Pre-lock on the internet. They actually have an office and nice show room which I wanted to see before we made our purchase decision . They made some good security suggestions and we purchased new locks and also a floor safe. This company is excellent and did exactly what they promised me. The locksmith was Michael he was very attentive and did a good job. You guys are great.

Tried to install my thermostat and was successfully however needed help from Prelock to run a 5th wire and connect to my furnace. Came out on a weekend within an hour I was up and running.

We needed an emergency locksmith to change our locks at our club. We turned to the internet and found Pre-lock. I called them to book the call and spoke with Paul. I just bought a house in downtown Toronto and I needed to install high security locks. I was referred to PreLock by someone who had used them a few times, so I decided to get pricing from them. They provided some good security solutions and did the work in a professional and timely manner. I am very happy that I used their services. I highly recommend PreLock to other people. Thanks for the great service you recently provide us at our Toronto home. You guys are great. Needed to get into our house after being on holidays for almost 2 weeks we were dropped off at our house by the limo straight from the airport. Realizing we did not have our keys we knew we had a problem. We googled locksmith service and found Pre-Lock. They quoted us a price on how much it would cost to get us in and suggested we change the locks since we lost the keys. We agreed and upgraded our locks to Medeco. The locks provide key control and also are apparently a lot better. The locksmith was very fast and very professional. He quoted us all the charges and there were no surprises. I highly recommend these guys, they were honest, fast and professional. The locksmith Michael was fantastic. Great Job guys we will keep your number handy.

We had a tenant in one of our houses who left without notice. We needed a locksmith fast so we could change the locks so the tenant could not return to the house. We called a couple of companies and they were unable to make an emergency call. When then called Pre-lock, we spoke with the owner Paul who was able to get a locksmith over to the house within 30 minutes. Cory arrived on site and was very nice and helpful. He was able to change our locks within minutes. The service was excellent and we should have called Pre-lock first. As a result of the excellent service we've asked the company to give us a quote on upgrading our lock hardware for our other house. Keep up the great work!

We have been using Pre-Lock Security Services for almost 35 years, Paul Seidman the owner always provides us with great service. We always enjoy working with Pre-Lock. Every team member from their company always responds to our needs and treats us like we are their biggest customer. Just last week we required another key for our front door and it was delivered within about 2 hours. We would never think of any other security provider. They are truly our one stop security provider. We would not hesitate to refer them to our customers , family and friends. Keep up the good work!!

Updated April 2022Wow, Wow, WOW!!! What a difference in service I received from my previous experience. Not only was the technician Lee early, he called ahead and asked if it was okay to start the service. He was very polite, friendly and listened when I explained the issue. He got right to work and found the problem, showing me what caused my door knob to break. He even noted the reason why it was so difficult to lock/unlock my door and fixed that issue. I have had two other locksmiths 'fix' this door each one never addressing this was an issue or bothering to resolve it. The work was done in a timely manner and Lee made 100% sure that everything was in order and working properly before leaving, even telling us to call again if the same issue persisted and he would come back out (It hasn't). 1000% I would recommend Pre-Lock Security, with a technician like Lee working for them you know you are getting the best. I will call again if any other service is needed but I will never go to another company.My experience with Pre-Lock Security was okay but not great compared to some others.The service guy who came to my home wasn't terribly friendly. He did the rekey service but re-installed the side door lock the wrong way. The locking side became vertical and the unlocked side horizontal, which he should've realized since he completed the front door first properly. Had to watch a youtube video on how to fix his mistake.I was told the deadbolt needed to be replace because it was broken which was fine but after the work was done all the wood shavings from the door and frame were just left on the floor for me to clean up.Also the service charge was quite expensive, more than what was quoted. The person who quoted me failed to mention it was before taxes (since I had to pay for the deadbolt replacement) and they only took a credit card though I wanted to pay cash. wasn't an emergency call either.Overall I am not sure I would recommend them to anyone I know considering there are other cheaper and equally reputable locksmiths in the city. Just glad the locks are changed.UPDATE: Got a call from the owner Paul. Had a conversation and glad he called to sort things out. It was reassuring to hear directly from him. If I need locksmith services again from PLSS I will request Paul to do the work.
