Toronto Birth Centre

Delivered my first child here in March and it was a wonderful experience. The facilities are beautiful. My sister walked in with me while I was in labour and as we entered my birthing suite, she exclaimed how nice and spa-like it was. I would recommend the TBC to anyone looking for a comfy and relaxing atmosphere to give birth.

the most beautiful birthing experience come to life. had the opportunity to give birth to my second child here. utilized the bathtub and had a water birth. rooms are comfy, private and intimate. wouldn’t change a thing.

Went here to deliver my first baby with my midwife. Very calming, chill. All the things you need for a natural birth, birth ball, deep tub, shower. Clean and dim room. Pretty relaxed when it comes to including your family in the experience. Love the healthy snacks and beverages. Went home with some pads and underwear. The nitrous oxide was the game changer and paramount to my delivery. Wonderful place. Just know what they can and cannot do for you compared to hospital.

We didn't end up getting to tour the birth centre in advance, but regardless had a wonderful experience there! Here are some details we learned while there!Our midwife wasn't there yet when we arrived, but someone came and helped us carry our bags in and was so sweet. We loved the room! It was cozy, dim and clean! There is parking underground too, so my husband moved the car there after I got in. Gas and air was awesome! The tub was very nice and large. The bed was big as well and comfortable, easy to adjust for my midwives as well.It was a little chilly, but once they turned on the electric fireplace near the bed, it warmed up fast! I would definitely recommend birthing here with midwives!!! We arrived at 3am, and were home by 10:30am. Even though we weren't there long, it was a beautiful experience and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to welcome our child into the world into such a beautiful, calm and safe environment!

Spectacular place to consider!!Does not have a single hint of the infamous ‘hospital smell’.If you are lucky enough you’d have the whole building to yourself! Otherwise, it is only 3 amazing rooms with a 4th smaller one that is a backup room.Free parking for the expectant parents. Staff are incredibly friendly and guide you through everything available to you!Would definitely come back for our third and fourth child!

I gave birth to my first child here on December 9, 2016. I have a very supportive family/friends and ALL of them were welcome. They even baked cookies while I labored.I felt calm and extremely happy with my choice and in a couple years I will hopefully deliver baby number 2 here as well.
