Krusty's Bicycles/ Cap's Richmond

It's been more than at least 25 years since I shopped at a Cap's Bicycle shop. I am glad I went to Krusty's. It's been in Richmond for years and there is good reason. I ordered my Trek P1 SLR7 bike in October and happily picked it up in early Feb. Mike the owner/manager was super responsive and communicative throughout the who process. I even got to meet their head mechanic Dennis on pick up day. The store seems to be well stocked and the prices are competitive. Can't wait for Mike to email me that my wife's SL7 bike has arrived. I wouldn't shop here and every store in this complex again, surprisingly not because of the store itself, but the parking service this store uses (and others at the complex use). Made a quick stop looking for parts and accessories, and got a ticket ticket by Diamond parking because I walked a few steps towards the street to look around before going into the store. Appeal denied as all parking rules have been created by the property owner(s)". If you want to pay a hefty $86 fine even if you want to support these businesses

I am genuinely impressed by both the staff and the owner's attitudes and service! I am new in the neighborhood, was just checking out the bike shop casually trying to see if what they have to offer, hoping they can be my next go-to shop for cycling stuff. I was greet by a few of their friendly staff, followed by the owner, then show them a video of my bike making a random noise, they immediately able to point out why and offered to help, got it fixed real quick by one of the cool technician FOC, he confidently say it shouldn't make any noise anymore" with a big smile.I have been to many bike shop

Back tire was flat and it was fixed in no time flat (I like puns). Bike tech explained everything and it looks like Mactalla bikes in east van had installed the wrong size bike tube. Velofix didn’t even bother to check the tires and it was flat in 3 days…a slow leak.Will only go here from now on!

I've been a regular at this local bike shop since my early teen years, and their fantastic service has kept me coming back for more than a decade.The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, always ready with the right advice or suggestion. They're also super friendly, which makes every visit feel more like dropping by a friend's place than a business transaction.When it comes to repairs, these guys are top-notch. They've always managed to fix my bikes right the first time around, which is a testament to their skill and dedication.One of the biggest pluses for me is their fair pricing. I've never felt like I was being taken advantage of financially, and that's a big deal in today's world.All in all, I couldn't recommend this bike shop more. If you're looking for great service, expert knowledge, and honest pricing, look no further.

I had a poor experience at this store. I bought a 1000$ bike which is a lot for me and I felt like I bought a piece of bread. No assistance, no expertise, no directions or advice on how to take care of the bike properly. We are not all bike experts here... I bought the bike online and then picked it up from the shop couple of weeks later and the bike wasn't even set up. They didn't even bother to check the tires pressure or set the seat and handle bar for me. As I said, they handed me the bike as it was a piece of 5$ bread. I never returned not even for the free tune up. I'm sure they are not that bad and I probably just got the wrong person at the store, but my experience was not good and I wouldn't recommend.

It's my preferred bicycle store in richmond. They have everything for bike parts. They do not carry a lot of specific or niche things on the shelf. But they can get probably anything you want In. And everytime I've brought something in for service, they were able to do right then and there. It's also bigger then most other bike shops that I've been to. Lots of bikes. Lots of parts. Lots of accessories like clothes, shoes, racks, locks and everything else. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Always friendly service here every time we come in. My son lost a screw on his caliper and Mike fixed it ASAP. Thank you kind sir!!!
